This tome is contained within the Aetherian Archive, but I was unable to find it either inside the trial or outside.

It has two locations:

Craglorn - Aetherian Archive - unrolled scroll on the rug in the southern end of the entry room
Map (Aetherian Archive): 72.75×80.97

Craglorn - Aetherian Archive - unrolled scroll atop a stone pedestal in front of the southernmost orb behind the pads that lead to The Mage’s spawn platform
Map (Aetherian Archive): 28.15×89.49

You can use an addon like Map Coordinates - https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info520-MapCoordinates.html
to find the specific location. The orbs in question for the 2nd location are the orbs that activate hard mode. It's near one of them. The 1st location doesn't require you to even complete the trial as it's just in the lobby.

That book is available only if you enter AA in veteran mode.
