What do you do between load screens?

✭✭Whelp... I've been lucky enough to never have one last longer than 30sec or so... I'll still take the opportunity to go make a cup of coffee, visit the WC or step out to let the pup do his business and partake in one of my bad habits.

✭✭✭✭The spectrum and commodore used to have mini games on load screens like space invaders and pac man... It would be nice if 'unusually long' load screens had something similar, TES themed of course, but what about duck hunt? Shooting cliff racers with a bow or staff

IsharaMeradin✭✭✭✭Wish that the loading screens for k&m on PC were the same as the one for controller on PC. The descriptive text is bigger and there is no annoying black bars at the top and bottom. The controller version generally looks better in my opinion.

The Sims 3 added something similar to the loading screen when first starting the game. It was a glorified hidden object game that rewarded points or something. It made the loading process take longer even when not participating.
But if it meant actually improving performance by allowing all NPCs, other players and all textures to fully render before closing the load screen, I'd happily play some mini-game that yielded crown gems or event tickets.PC-NA / PC-EUID @IsharaMeradin

✭✭✭✭✭I used to joke I was teaching myself to play harmonica during load screens and had learned Hot Cross Buns and most of The Saints Go Marching On. The joke is I never got close to learning a song as I am lucky I can play the radio.
Now I do some physical therapy exercises that are suppose to be strengthening my hips and legs. I kind of ignored some sports injuries when I was younger and it finally caught up to me.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."1 -

“During” loading screens I make tasty beverages, do chores, take some exercise, interact with RL, ponder the relentless march of time and post to the forum. That may be why so many of my posts appear to be really angry.

Darkhorse1975✭✭✭✭✭I have the recliner and monitors positioned next to bay windows. Switching back and forth between displays and windows during load screens is really relaxing.
