Why do I have to force-quit the game in order to mount or teleport in Cyrodiil????

Pls explain the reasoning behind the change in combat mechanics that keep everybody permanently stuck in combat. Sometimes even after dying and respawning. Is this ZOS's idea of interesting gameplay?

If you open the crown store and look through some of the mounts, it sometimes stops the stuck in combat bug. However there's also times when I can only open the store and 'purchase' instead of preview. While it's not a fix, that might help some of the frustration.


They did say that they're working on what's keeping us in combat though, so we'll see. As it stands, the current reason I guess was to keep certain addons from instantly being able to swap a build mid-combat. I could certainly be wrong about that though.

If you didn't collect your horse from the stable you shouldn't be able to ride it in the open world. Horses would be killed in the combat otherwise!

Wished invisbility pots worked, but no, they dont.

Will try the crown store tip though, would be pretty fitting if selling crown store stuff is ranking so high on ZOS' priority list that it even overrides the permanently-stuck-in-combat-bug ... O.O

This has been going on for a long time now. Scheduling people to work on cyro is clearly the lowest possible priority. I've spent so much time stuck in 'combat' today that I expect the forum to reject this post until combat is over.

Zos has a fix to the in-combat bug they added to the game last year. It is faction lock. Faction lock will solve everything.

It has to be the fix. After all Zos acknowledge they are aware of the issue but have not said one word about when they will fix it or even if they know what they did to break it. Either hey are ignoring it like the GF issue and a year from now lie and say they thought they fixed it or faction lock is their solution.

They just wanna push out more content and ignore the bugs that only affect the minority. xd

Ah, shame. They did for me. Still, I'd prefer to just have the problem fixed instead of burning through my pots just to get around a bug with the game

This is a recently enabled feature, but personally I'm not a fan. I don't know why ZOS implemented it, maybe they'll clarify.
