Recording gameplay

What's the best program for recording my gameplay? I won't be recording my entire session, just documenting a bug related to Clothing Level VI reward shipments. I'm playing on Steam, if that matters. TIA.

if you have a nvidia card, use shadowplay

GeForce Experience Shadowplay (if you have an Nvidia Graphics card) also works pretty nice.

If you are just doing a one off recording and using Windows 10, you can use the in built Game Bar Recorder to record video. (press the Windows Key + G in game to bring it up)

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! I do use Windows 10 and an Nvidia graphics card. I'll probably try the game bar first for quickie recordings to document this bug, and then I'll try ShadowPlay and OBS Studio later when I get more serious about recording actual game sessions.
