Random load screens in PVP

Have the random load screens ever been addressed by zos (not just the long load times)? Its been happening for so many patches now and it seems even worse.

Specifically on PS4 NA you hit so many load screens when taking a keep, when it flips, during defense, and even when the keep has zero action at it. We all see the keep walls upgrading back to back. This is causing either both alliances to freeze mid fight or just one and the other faction gets to kill everyone standing still.

if the animation of upgrading is causing the problem maybe you should just remove it?

I'm on ps4 na and it's the same for me. It's getting pretty ridiculous at this point

I get them all the time on PC/NA. Outside DClaw heading towards Bruma everytime just before the resource. And the keep upgrades/flipping. That one always gets me. I hate being in a 1vX or defense situation and then the load screen comes in.

Try setting footsteps volume to 0 and see if that helps. Also, restoring video settings to default helps on PC but I'm not sure if you can do that on console. Upgrading to a SSD wouldn't hurt even though your CPU is the bottleneck.

This bug was introduced in the wolfhunter patch when zos decided to have the fantastically brainless and mindless idea to have keeps downgrade or upgrade when resources are taken. Since zos is incapable of actually implementing a feature without breaking at least 3 things in the process. The load screen was introduced.
Now, whenever I get a load screen in a keep I just reset because I ALWAYS will be kicked to the home screen. An easy fix for this bug is to **** off with keeps being downgraded or upgraded via resources. That change was I dare say one of the worst things ever introduced.

Just now my friend lost and emp keep because we all got load screens mid fight (while we were getting tanked to death but that’s another problem)

You even get load screens open field ALL the time.

Anyone plan on fixing problems or just implement more cyrodiil quests other things we didn’t ask for

Random load screens are connected to keeps upgrades and downgrades as @frostz417 mentioned. But seriously you really think they will fix it? Lmao 😂😂😂 They can't fix stuck in combat because it's to complicated, they can't fix shadow image because it's to complicated and you think they will be able to fix loading screens? Even being optimistic should have boundaries :P

iirc Zos introduced random load screens into Cyrodiil during the first year.

• Yes, it is a major flaw that can even affect you while you are in combat, yet not affect the person you are fighting.
• Yes, it would seem this should have a high priority since it does expose a flaw in the design.
• No, Zos seems to not be interested in fixing it since it has been around for years.

This is exactly why I play battlegrounds 90% of the time now instead of dealing with non stop load screen in Cyrodiil

it's not happening, no matter how much we complain or how many bug reports we send in or how many videos we post.

I spoke with Rob about the fast release of updates and if ZOS had considered doing a “Great Fix Patch” for one of their updates. He said it’s a question they get a lot and whilst it’s not off the table they as a company do need to produce for everyone and a majority of the bugs and issues faced are not ones everyone encounters or are drastically halting gameplay, as such they need to continue creating content for people who want new content to play and and don’t play at the higher level to notice if a skill or mechanic works a little wonky.

for 4 load screens today in different keeps which caused my whole group to wipe. Not sure why they are adding things like alliance lock and siege buff when simple game play on the map doesn't even work
