Altered existing sets for Elsweyr

In the livestream they mentionned that they changed some existing sets for Elsweyr to make them more "Necromancery" such as Essence Thief (WGT), Leeching Plate (IP) and Whitered Hand (Overland in the Alikr Desert); any info on those?

Affliction also. I use that set. I have gold jewellery for it. It better be good.

I was just about to post and ask the same thing. Especially interested in Leeching Plate- it's my primary pair with Bahraha's Curse. (I was very interested in combining these for a necromancer)

so far the sets they changed the last time were changed for the better... and whitered hand and essence thief aren't really used...

I'm interested in what will happen to Leeching Plate. I used that as one of my sets when I first started tanking and enjoyed it a lot, especially due to the unique Grievous Leeching Ward shield that speaks in the voice of the Lord Warden . Please don't ruin that set ZOS.

Elsweyr will be on the PTS in only 2 weeks so not much time to wait.

They were in the Influencer event. However, it's possible that those changes are not considered part of the Update 22, in which case they may still be under NDA until the changes hit live.

I love leeching sets for tanking. Obviously, you're not going to have high burst while wearing them (which is fine... because that's balanced)- but I like the self-survivability that they add plus a little extra DPS to help out. It makes tanking more enjoyable to me.

They also should buff and/or rework most of crafting set.
To many are just true garbage.
Considering how long it take to farm all trait to be a true crafter, set should be as good.
0 crafting set are good enough to be "meta", their just filer and it's pretty sad.

Update doesn't hit for another two months, even if you wait for PTS to drop you're got time to farm them if you want.

Redoing Withered Hand makes sense, with the introduction of the Magicka version of VO which returns Magicka on kills, as well as offering 8% Magicka cost reduction. By this same logic the Seducer set could also use an update.

We can talk about them because they are to do with the Elsweyr update as a whole BUT these things are SO subject to change that instead of creating too much panic about base game stuff, we focused more on whats coming with the new. Especially the content, the balance between necros and other classes and of course the new trial and such too

2 trait Craftable and overland set vs a trial set. I am aware that normal farming exists but seems like a good balance to me.

yeah, always liked that set...maybe rework the first 3 bonuses... same for syvarra's whould could be an awesome set with 3 other starter bonuses.

Maybe some of the sets will play into the corpose mechanic more....

i also hope we will see more disease damage flavored sets which are still underrepresented...

I completely agree this is a fun tanking set and that unique shield makes it all the much better. I hope they don't ruin something that is already useful, rather then make a new set for their Necromancer.

Yes! That unique shield is one of THE MOST AWESOME artifacts of this game.

You're going to have to pretty much wait for the patch notes to find out what proposed changes are being seriously considered as additions to the game.
