Anyone else concerned we will never get the full map?

With Elsweyr being such a small looking zone for a chapter it makes me wonder if we will ever see the full map of Tamriel before the game servers shut down. The size of Elsweyr in comparison to the map isn’t even the full province. They did the same with Morrowind which is still missing some landmass. Do you think these areas will ever be revisited in another chapter?

I feel like this game has a long future still. I would worry more about what will they add when the map is filled.

Kind of, but I worry more about the future of nightnoodles, uh blades. I would like to eventually see the whole map.

I don't see why not. There are MMOs out there that you would think had died ages ago that are going on, literally, decades. Everquest, for example.

Yes. I can see ZOS filling in parts of the big zones like Skyrim, Hammerfell and Cyrodiil. As for completing the whole map, I just don't see it happening. Far too many weird shapes will be required to make it work, scaling will go crazy like with Summerset. How would they chop up the eastern peninsula of Morrowind?

Plus western Morrowind/eastern Skyrim is still a mess on the map, needs a lot of fixing. We also only get 1 chapter and 1 overland DLC per year now, and that DLC could be off the map like the Clockwork City.

I use to worry about it, but not no more. If we don't get it, we don't get it. Not like we can walk straight from province to province or sector to sector. (not sure what the individual parts are called in a province.)

After all, we have Arena for that. :) A bonus though is we do have Areteum that I never thought we would see. I rather Zenimax do properly what they can do instead of rushing out just to get a complete map.

I rather have a well done game with an incomplete map, than a rushed game that doesn't work well with a complete map that I will not wanting to explore then.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

ZOS may try their best to release as many zones as possible.
Though they can never release every detail and location of every corner of Tamriel, i.e each square kilometer etc.
They minimize the different zones maps and physical sizes to allow the feeling of an MMO.
Also, each zone's questing and overall lore will also be partially complete.
Tamriel is huge and therefore can't be fully recreated.
Not to mention that Tamriel is just one continent of the planet Nirn.

The missing mainland Morrowind were all done by Tamriel-Rebuilt.

I am surprised that we never hear about Necrom or Blacklight here as they have been major parts of Morrowind lore afaik
But a lot of the missing was already covered in Oblivion and Skyrim.

So. Not sure that there's a lot left to cover after that.

    Kilometre.
Its the metric system, not the meteric system.

If you'd like to use the ancient imperial measurement system, then I'd appreciate the description in rods and perches please.

I'm more surprised (and slightly dissapointed tbh) they haven't added any more legitimate Overland Zones for certain planes of Oblivion since release. Sure, we have Coldharbour, but that place is pretty stale for a major zone, and the only relevant thing there after the main quest-line are the sets from Vaults of Madness.

They made that brief visit to the Spiral Skein pretty damn beautiful however (ignoring the ugly spiderkith), so I don't see why they can't make full-fledged zones out of a few of the myriad of planes in the Elder Scrolls lore. I mean, who isn't curious what Hircine's Hunting Grounds, Vermina's Quagmire, or even Mephala's Spiral Skein could look like as an explorable zone? So far we've only had small glimpses of these places.

Probably will never get the full map. But you don't miss those areas because you cant go into them anyway So you don't even know there missing.

"concerned" is a pretty strong word. That would imply that I was FAR more invested than I really am.

I would love for the game to last long enough to have them complete the entire map. I'm not sure if they have even thought that far ahead yet.

It seems like it will take a while if they don't start doing bigger zones. That's really my only concern.
