With all the criticism and the negatives that pop across forums (some I admit are from me), I just wanted to point something out.

I just finished the Wrathstone prelude, and That was extremely enjoyable. Abner Tharn is the Best NPC concept, even better than Cadwell IMHO. He has the absolute funniest dialog, which he is very serious about.

Big Kudos for Wrathstone. Anyone else enjoy it?

Tharn is so sarcastic he is insane, you saw this in the main quest to.
And yes he is correct that he can not hold up the portals forever, he can hold them up for more than an day, yes I tested this
Friend needed help after doing the reaper march dungeon so I ported out, next day I returned and used it

On the subject of positives: I WALKED my horse from north to south of Wrothgar the other day simply to enjoy the scenery and appreciate how the sound marries with the visuals, sometimes we are so busy running around chasing stuff that we forget to appreciate what's put in front of us. The base production values are really outstanding. Just my opinion of course but a lifetime working in theatre/TV sure makes me appreciate the artists working for ZOS.

Yes that was a fun quest. The only criticism I have is that he opened approximately too many portals and said that he couldn't hold them open indefinitely approximately too many times.

but you could have waited for him to open the portal ….

I really enjoyed this small storyline and was so happy that the dialog did indeed change for a character than has never met him to a character that has already met him.

It was ok for me. I didn't expect much but the ending got me excited. Glad you enjoyed it

he isnt better than cadwell or raz but i thin he is better than in the main story

One npc I didn't really like was Khamira. She was like "im wary of what tharn is doing, but i wont confront him bc im scared he'll knock down my thoughts", and when the whole shebang goes down she was like "i told you so" in a very snooty way. Idk, maybe in Elsweyr she'll be better, but just in these quests, I wasn't a fan of hers.

Loved this quest! The final zone looked amazing. Makes me excited for Elsweyr.
