no, the other skins make you look like flashlights instead of making you look normal

The only issue is it also nearly completely hides your makeup/face paint. I got it because I'm a sucker for skins but I'll keep on using the scalecaller one to hide vampirism because that one at least still shows the other details.

Putting a skin on still hides tattoos though (it only does this in the preview apparently). And this skin is far from normal. It makes your character look like they came out of a freezer (which I guess is the point).

Not all skins hide tattoos, this one, amberplasm, zombie, meridia still allow u to see some tatoos

It's strange, I tried it on several characters and they look like they have some severe disease with this skin, worse then vampirism of 1-2 lvls. And obviously skin color and structure is lime white, how you achieve that golden color on screenshot? Maybe you run some kind of reshade?

It's strange, I tried it on several characters and they look like they have some severe disease with this skin, worse then vampirism of 1-2 lvls. And obviously skin color and structure is lime white, how you achieve that golden color on screenshot? Maybe you run some kind of reshade?

No, its showing like that on all my toons, whether or not they are vampire. No reshades or any other kind of editing either in game or to the pic after. This is genuinely how my toons are looking with this skin

Yeah, my imperial looks just like that.. well, it's better then lvl4 vampire for certain but it's far from normal imo.. it looks like character was painting something with lime and then forget to wash.

It may have to do with race and/or skintone. I'll grab a few screenshots to compare.

I bought the Arctic Rime skin. These pics were not taken in preview mode.
Everyone is wearing "Bronze color eyeshadow" and "Crimson Flame lipstick" for these screenshots.
Stage 4 vamp on the right, stage 4 vamp plus Arctic Rime skin on the left,

Tattoo visibility varied a lot. Bright and contrasting colours showed best. Dark coloured ones didn't show at all on the Argonian.

Can't believe two of them blinked when I took their picture, but I assume you know what stage 4 eyes look like

The scalecaller skin is basically the exact same color except with the necro markings instead of the chilled look. Amberplasm is fairly normal looking as well.

Comparing my three vampires, it seems that it has more to do with skin tone. Beast races for example get almost completely washed out. Also, the discoloration on the head is not as severe as the one on the rest of the body, which explains why characters with their full bodies covered seem to look better than those with exposed skin. The vSP skin has a 'cleaner' look altogether, and seems to give characters a more healthy look than the Arctic Rime one, but it's still a very viable alternative.

This is an Imperial. On the exposed arms it's clear that the frosting is more severe, making it look 'dirty'/sick (compare to skin tone with vSP skin). A viable alternative but IMO the vSP skin still looks better.




This is a Breton. Again, same exact thing. Looks good on face (not so much on the body).




Bottom line, I think that the Arctic skin makes them look more (un)dead than the vSP one, but definitely a very decent alternative to stage 4 vampire.

For comparison, my khajiit doesn't seem to take any of the skins too well. Not a vampire though, but neither of the skins seem to come close to 'mortal' looks. vSP skin is the clear winner though.

I just bought the skin and it makes my main look so much better- not perfectly normal but it’s better than the ugly stage 4 vampirism
