disconnects high ping spikes and lag issues since update 21

Hi there,

I am getting very tired of these issues, I noticed it says in last maintenance that being dc'd when character swapping was fixed? but it is not it is still doing it. Since update 21 I've been getting very high ping spikes I'm in NZ so my ping normally sits comfortably at 200-280 but lately its been 300-999+ this doesn't make for a very enjoyable gaming experience.

    This also happened to me. If you're not already using Mudfish I highly suggest to give it a try. Secondly open your command prompt and enter "ipconfig /flushdns" (no quotation marks). This might help a lot, but at the least it won't do anything/cant hurt at all. Someone explained to me that ESO has a tough time with dns something or others that I don't understand, but it put me back under 300 ping. You can also setup a static IP and open the suggested ports which probably won't help with latency but might help with the disconnects.

    Thats the new feature, that comes with u21.
    Youll see you toon do the stop dance, then npc and other players freezes, and your back in login screen. Awesome new mechanics.

    I didnt like their racial nerfs though.

    Add the dw nerf to that, and Im just salty.

    Don't rule out an increase in other traffic since a recent NZ incident.

    My latency is around 450, from a tethered mobile. 2000 from satellite. So you're still doing better than some of us.

    I get way more infinite loading screens, crashes, and higher ping spikes than I've ever seen before Wrathstone. I'd almost NEVER see red ping... now most times it'll sit between 200-300+ (used to usually be around 120-160) and I've seen it spike up to 2k.

    I usually have 80 to 120 PR, up to 250-300 in event zones at peak hours but yesterday, I have to finish the Vet Fang Lair pledge with 1300 something ping. I was a real burden to the group during the final boss fight. After the dungeon, I returned to Alinor and my PR was around 200. I do not know what is wrong with the servers or is it related to something else but it needs to stop.

    Yes I have it to. I got long loading screens since summerset but now since last update my game freezes and kicks me out and is slow. When fighting I push the button then it takes a bit and it actually happends and then it takes a bit and it hits and then it takes a bit and I hear the noise.

    Very frustrating this

    Hey, I'm in the same boat.

    Just came back from a hiatus. Ping is fine doing solo stuff, but can't do any group content at all, no dolmens, trials or pvp as soon as its a boss fight the ping goes up and I d/c. :( I basically only have half a game.

    This wasn't an issue last time I played about 6-10months ago. Would be in cyrodil all the time, so I am not sure whats changed.

    Well bit the bullet and used mudfish and in victoria it works.... under 300, so its like the game before ZoS hired Akamai to ruin it for them.

    I know, why do you need a program and to shill out a little bit more money to play a game you subbed and bought.... heard it all before. But unless your willing to quit ZoS won't listen to Oceanic and will keep using Akamai to screw us over.

    I just got dc'd from my battleground just as we were about to win and re logging in i get a infinite loading screen :(

    Yeah I'm not willing to pay more to play this game if they don't fix this crap Ill just leave and go back to GW2
