Does this work properly right now? I'd like to try running it on a healer for support to weaken mobs as I buff the group to destroy them, but if it's bugged... no thanks.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

Yep it's a great support tool on healers in dungeons. They fixed it back in wolf Hunter. It has some application in trials too but @ZOS_Finn why are so many things immune to it.

It doesnt work on elite mobs or bosses if that's what you're wondering

It works on a couple elite mobs and a very small number of bosses.

    Dungeon bosses
    First boss in vAA
    Garylos vHRC
    Dogs on vHRC boss

I was thinking of just using it so trash packs die faster thus reducing damage taken by the team.

10% is really low, and requires the healer to stand in the middle of mobs before the over confident impatient dds (you can accuse me of that) rush forward. Even if you run with them, when you are in the middle of the mobs, the perfect location for it, there should have been already 6 dot ticks hitting the poor mobs, which will render the debuff ineffective. (2 from your wall of elements, and at least two more from each other dd's AoE). If you want to help with dealing damage while healing I would recommend just off healing. put up your dots, heal a bit, buff a bit, rinse and repeat.

Also, I am not sure what you are planning to accomplish, best case scenario u r in the middle of the mob pack, they are all full health because nothing damaged them, you use it, and they all try to kill you. Not best case scenario anymore now is it? If anything I think it would be more useful on a tank, shield charge into the mob pack + pulsar for minor mangle, soft taunts everything and lower their health by 10%.

    There's no aoe cap anymore.

I don't think we are on the same page, I didn't say anything about AoE cap

I haven't tried it recently but it used to work on Chudan in RoM.
Got it to work as a ran thru a Speed run, No Death with a friend of mine awhile back.

Then explain because you didn't make sense.

Okay, minor mangle is useful only if mobs are above 90% health, right? If you use it in them when they are 100%, they will all focus on you. But usually, until you reach a position in which pulsar will hit all mobs, they already had DoTs on them dealing damage, lowering them below 90%

Minor mangle is useful in pvp, reduces anything scaling off max health for opponents and bombing.

@Tasear I think zvavi is trying to say the mob is dead from aoes before m mangle can have significant impact on time to kill.

Personally prefer to run it on a Tank since they're naturally already in the thick of things and have the easiest time applying it while helping them maintain aggro.

It takes 10% of the mobs health no matter how much health they have left even if it 6% . You are misunderstanding the skill.

I'm using pulsar mostly for solo. In group it's pretty much useless for the above mentioned reasons. For solo though - quite good alternative to cc. And yes, delves and especially public dungs are just morning jogging with it.

it doesn't because all target dummies are after wolf hunter treated as boss level monsters. Trust me... I have my complaints
