Bethesda.net's Morrowind 25th Anniversary Give Away

You can get Morrowind today (March 25th only) for free on Bethesda's site. But how can you add the game here? I do NOT want to be playing 2 separate characters on 2 separate platforms - that would be pretty darn stupid.

You can get The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind for free. Not The Elders Scrolls Online Morrowind.

2 different games, you need to redeem the original Morrowind game from the website and then its added to your Bethesda.Net account, you can then install the game via Bethesda Launcher.

Though I have Morrowind as a hard copy from retail and also have it on GOG, I decided to grab it on Bethesda site too. Like hell I did. Couldn't even log in, changed password, attempted to log in. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, managed to log in only to be informed, that the redemption code is incorrect. And after that I got booted out from my profile and had to log in again (which I couldn't). Bethesda at their best

I'd love to pick it up again. Made an account with Bethesda but it keeps saying my password is wrong. Tried to reset the password but it says to not use one I've already used even if I make an all new password.

DID get in on Chrome, briefly, but the redemption code didn't work when I went looking for Morrowind on the shop...which was very broken on Chrome.

So...no Morrowind for me. It will have to remain a memory for now.

Looks like they are crashing Bethesda's site. Multiple login passwords showing as invalid then folks change it only to find that their new one doesn't work.

Code shows as invalid and logs you out.

Site doesn't come up at all.

and here, Prologue quest is not working for a lot of folks.

Today is really going well for a 25th birthday celebration, don't ya think?

Me: I was able to log in on 3rd password change (only wanted to see if it was real earlier, I already own it on Steam). Also, I'm one of the ones who can't do the prologue quest in ESO.

Bethesda website servers cannot handle multiple logins and you are surprised that the game servers are garbage...

oh and apparently Bethesda.net logins don't work for anything. was trying to hop into legends to get those free card packs? and its not working either. woops ah well.. gonna give it a few hours to settle down.... hopefully

(already have morrowind on steam, so at least there's that :P )

They've gratuitously invalidated my password too, it won't let me reset it because it's "been used previously". Morons. Mind you, that site has always been garbage, but still. I didn't forget my password or anything, they just decided to invalidate it for no reason.

Clicked on the Redeem Now button and got sent back to ...

You can't make this crap up.

Redeem through bethesda launcher instead, it works. Had same problem.

Same, I have it on steam, GOG and disc and the code just came back with an error. The BNet launcher is suppose to be *** anyway so whatever.

I installed the launcher and the very first thing it tried to do (while I was trying to find something related to ESO) was start downloading Legends again for no reason. I had to stop all Internet traffic before nuking it because I can see no way to tell it to stop* (*OK, I found it, but that's a few hundred meg I'll never get back).

So, I'm finally in the launcher and I've killed the Legends download and ...

You describe what happened to me to a T. Got the email on my break today, tried to redeem my code from work but I was forced to change my password once and then still couldn't get into my account. Waited til I got home and was able to log in on my PC, but now the code is invalid.
