Buff Refreshing Path

Apply minor vitality to the caster (not allies) while inside the path, and for 2 seconds after leaving it. This would make it a little more refreshing.

Refreshing desperately needs a buff and I'd be fine with adding Minor Vitality to it. Heal will still be weaksauce but at least it's mildly better weaksauce.

well lets be fair here...NB has some of the easiest accessable Major and minor buffs in the game.
adding another minor buff on there seems in my eyes just too much...they should rather buff the skill itself in flat numbers, than tying another minor buff onto NB.

True that, but I still can't see many people slotting it even if minor vitality were added. And yes, it'd still be janky even with that small buff, but in combination with all your other healing it's not totally bad - certainly better than what it is now.

Alternatively we can revert the bug that happened a while ago...

Umm how healing morph can break the DPS ? Refreshing path is not doing dmg so...

That'd be fine too. As long as this skill gets some extra healing out of it (which is what this morph is supposed to do), I'd be totally a-ok

Lol asking for small nightblade tank/healer buff and It's always the pvp dps that come in and cry about it.

Refreshing tooltip and functionality is fine, issue is the area is too small. Increase it to the size of Templar’s ritual.

I wish I knew how but people have been making asinine statements about virtually any buff to NB being broken because their DPS is too high, to which I argue those people are idiots that don't know what they're talking about.

I want the damage back, even if it's a pathetic amount of damage as that'll let you pull stambaldes out of cloak and keep them out, much like how every other magicka class has a way to do that well enough without using magelight. As it stands magblade really only ever has fear on their bar for that and that can only be useful every 6 seconds and within 6 meters which is annoyingly small.@ZOS_Gilliam @ZOS_BrianWheeler

I've even seen some people suggest attaching snare removal to the skill and that would indeed make magbalde more viable in the PvP world.

I do miss this feature actually. Couldn't hurt to add a small damage tooltip also, even if it's only like 200 base magic damage or something.

Agreed. If you compare ritual of retribution to refreshing path it's crazy how much worse path is.

Refreshing path should have a much larger area and possibly deal damage to enemies as well. Then give twisting path something else.

I hate that they took all damage from refreshing path. Damage allows for critical hits, which then permit certain sets to proc their abilities (Iceheart, Combat Physician, etc). Taking away the ability of procs to critically hit, long with damage from Refreshing Path, really cut down my survivability on my Nightblade. I wish they reverted the proc critical changes back to where they could crit, except the critical dmg would be x1.00, so no extra damage would be dealt, but it could still register as a crit for other sets to activate from. No damage from Refreshing Path took my uptime of Iceheart down by so much, wherein I had to change to Twisting Path, but then lost the self heal. Disappointing changes for sure.

Or just revert all the changes they made to magNB in Murkmire. Probably one of the dumbest balance decisions they've made recently besides the whole Rune Cage debacle.

Id prefer it was made into a genuine heal worthy of a spot in a healers rotation.

I have a NB healer/dps hybrid, I use refreshing path but only because I want to use NB skills, resto staff has far better skills available.

Before anyone complains about a NB healer hybrid, its for fun, relax. Though the ultimate heals are... incredible, try them

Actually because refreshing path ticks every second instead of every two, it has about double the ST hps of a skill like mutagen or extended ritual.

With that being said, hps is irrelevant if the area’s so small it’s not hitting anyone except the tank. I’d gladly trade healing power for better coverage.

Maybe snare removal and immunity (for 2-3 seconds) would be a better option. Just had a lovely 15 minute battle against 2 stam dks spamming heroic on me while I crawled around for 100% of the fight trying to stay alive through the barrage of reverb debuffs.
Add some snare immunity to path and I'd be happy.
