Good evening everyone..I been playing this game for few years now..and through all this time I have played stam..I main a stam dk pve and stam blade pvp..I played a stam sorc for a cup of coffee and I have since shelved him..I have been thinking about dabbling in the magic side of things..but it will be a learning curve for me..I was going to use the race change tokens we received and turn my stam sorc into a dps mag sorc..I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions on a few sets I could use to have it up and running by tonight..I'm not looking to go into trials or vet dungeons until I learn the play style..I was looking to use over land and normal dungeons as my training grounds..pet builds do not interest me..I can craft anything in the game and gold is no issue..would something like julianos and mothers sorrow work..I have zaan and skoria 2 piece in my bank..and I have a malestrom lightning staff..I know it's all about the inferno staff but can I get any use out of that lightning staff? ..would I pair it with another lightning staff or go inferno...any advice would be helpful..thank you all in advance

For magsorc i can recommend Breton or dark Elf, even argonian
Lightning Staff is good especially if u plan on running 2 dps sets, doesnt need to Be Inferno on back, can also be frost/lightning if u choose so u will still get the dps bonus... Maybe go frost? U can block with frost Staff for the cost of magicka instead stamina

As for sets and builds im afraid idk what to tell u, ive been main magsorc since 2014 until murkmire came out, got her back to life yesterday as a hybrid yesterday, so i dont think the sets i used back then are still viable, or the ones i use now xD

Do yourself a favor and play around with some builds, u can do that for free in the PTS if u have it, what ever is meta builds now a days will always be second best

I am running a mag\stam duel wielding sorcerer and having a great time. May not be "meta" or an affront to the min\max mentality, but I don't care as it is fun. Thinking of using full medium Shacklebreaker on it.

Hey Dude, I would recommend having a look at Xynode’s various magica builds, especially his Easy Sorc build, because it sounds like you want more than just a set of recommends about gear and would benefit from his descriptions of how his chosen skills work together with the sets he has selected.

If you are looking for good magica builds that are fun to play and encourage you to work around them in your own style, these are great.

You should know that you can do quite well in pvp with player made armor 5x, then some weapons and jewerly from the

guild store's. All you then need would be a good MS for Helm and shoulders. All the rest depends on how you play

Since you said you weren't new to the game, CP are easy, and the rotation is again by personal choice.
