Justice for the BROOM!

Anyone remember this? Anyone still have it in bank? The great of the greatest Brooms? We paid to lose for it few years ago, when outfits were just unrealistic dream. It was great, it was fun and what now? It lays in banks - oh, the irony - covered in the dust it promised to sweep... How can we just ignore it? How can we let it be like that? Today is the day to bring justice for the broom!

Let's make the broom great again and make it an outfit!

Let us know if you have it, had it or would you buy it as an outfit, I'm interested if more people remember it :D

Happy Jester Festival :D

I have mine still in a character. Don't use it merely because it's 2H and it is an actual item instead of a skin. If it was a staff I might actually use it, just for the laughs

I have used in combat, got reward for the dolmen to.
Also justice for the stolen clothing she is wearing.

Dps is not very impressive, with no 2H skills and little stamina.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

As of now my Nord can beat things and people with a shovel, this is all I need and it makes me immensely happy...

But because of this I can fully understand and support those who want to sweep their enemies away.

    Personally not my taste.

I like it as a joke item with bad stats because it means people are not using it actively. I am already not a fan that we now have kitchen utensils as weapons which let people do max DPS.
I am fine with some joke items for the fun and messing about but it really bugs me when MMO games start going down the route of letting people have silly and unrealistic weapons which do full damage.

Well, yea, I'm sure we wouldn't want every eso player to run with spoon bow etc outside of Jester festival, but things get boring, I didn't see too many people pretending to be jester walking around all the time... beside some bizarre 'pro' players outfits . And it wouldn't hurt to have some fun from time to time with some weird Cadwell style outfits :D. Broom and bucket just really match the theme

Can't vote, there is no "Other" option ...

I actually have a character that i leveled up exclusively with only with the bucket and the broom.
She still wears her prison shackles and has a belt and shoulders to get one 5 set bonus (3x Jewelry, 1 belt, 1 shoulder) but is otherwise rather revealing.
I do have a back bar for buffing with a 2H maul i otherwise never use.

It's actually loads of fun to play that way, everything is a lot harder since armor is limited and the broom does little damage at max level.

My crafter 90% of time runs with Broom on her back. And usually do fighting when I forget to alphagear her to another weapon

Matches great with an arena purchased helm.

So it's all fine to me.

    @Turelus

Except it’s lore friendly that some utensils are powerful.

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Fork_of_Horripilation
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Miscellaneous_Items#Ysgramor.27s_Soup_Spoon
Wylandriah’s spoon from Skyrim, has... some kind of power lol, at least sentimental power. Also in Skyrim, the utensils fork and knife were weapons, separate from daggers.

Sorry to break your bubble, but you already could do max DPS with a wooden stick.

imo: let the broom be free, people already can run around in bath towels and tank bosses, if people want their characters to look silly, let them be

He actively used his bow on the back bar and was fully geared, including gold jewelry and at CP cap.

But yes, still quite an impressive feat.
