Name change token = Invalid Name

Trying to use a name change token but I keep getting the "Invalid Name" error.

But I'm not using any weird characters - It is literally two words. The 1st contains 4 letters, the 2nd contains 5.

I've made sure that all the naming criteria are correct and also, it isn't a famous/dodgy/offensive name. So what is going on?

Is it possible that part of the name is banned?

I'm not sure about ESO but I know in some games you can't have the letters G and M next to each other, even with a space in between, as a way of preventing players from creating characters called something like 'G M Tyrone' and then pretending to be a Game Master, but because it's an automated system it also prevents names which a human would never consider a problem, like Greg Thomas.

Same with swear words - if the last few letters of the first word and the first few letters of the second one spell an offensive word it can be banned.

That comes up with a different message - it specifically says the name is taken rather than just saying it's invalid.

    You guessed right, @Danikat

I had to add an ' between g and m.

I tried naming a Khajii the other day La'shi with a surname and it came up invalid. I was trying to figure out why until I googled the word and found out it was a word for going to the bathroom (number 2) in Mandarin Chinese. >-<

    Damn, this makes me angry.
I mean there are a lot of names in our real life, that are profanities in other languages(sometimes are quite severe profanities), and, well, nobody pays too much attention to it.

I would have thought that such cases should be considered ok, unless multiple players report the name.

Lol, "la1 shi3" is the colloquial expletive for poop (can't write the real word).

ZOS actually saved you if you wanted the name to be a serious one. XD
