PSA: 2nd ESO running in background (PC)

I'm sure most players already know this, but thought I'd share just in case some don't. Yesterday I logged onto PC/NA Vivec just as AD was swarming the Ni-Mohk gate, and of course instantly lost server connection. Rather than wait several minutes for the client to pull its head out of its ass and realize it had lost connection, I Alt+F4 and restarted the game. After getting back in the game, my lag was absolutely horrendous, which I attributed to the massive zerg of AD clashing with the few DC trying to protect the Ni-Mohk scroll. In disgust, I logged out to cleanse my palate with a random single-player game, but noticed poor performance there as well. I checked the Task Manager and found that ESO was still running, even though I had gone through the quit process. I logged back in to test it, and discovered that using Alt+F4 DOES NOT close the game, even though it definitely used to in the past. It leaves ESO running in the background, eating up massive amount of system resources.

tl;dr - if you Alt+F4 to close ESO, you may also have to close it in the Task Manager, or else suffer crippling game lag
