Should I be going Breton, Dunmer or Altmer this patch?

Can a Breton maintain a full LA rotation with blue food and a bersker glyph on back bar? if so that seems the safest option. I'm not going for scores on the hardest content, just completion (vAS +2 and vCR +3).

I went to Altmer on my Templar for more deeps. Breton was great though when I played Maghealer.

They're honestly really close. It's really not an issue, min max, its gonna be high elf

But sustained damage is breton. Plus you can use bi stat food on it

I’d say it depends if you want to some day branch out beyond PvE dps.

If you want to maybe heal or try pvp healing go Breton.

If you want to stick with dps but try pvp out as a magplar go altmer.

If you want to stick to pve dps play the one you think looks better, because it doesn’t matter.

Altmer has the added little bonus of 5% damage reduction when you use heavy attacks, puncturing strikes or execute.

I have a Breton and an Altmer magplar. I prefer the Breton this patch, since the survivability is much better (with blue food) without much difference in damage. Even for score runs Breton can be competitive, and it is the obvious choice for progression and clears.

Am I right in saying the new altmer resource passive is better mathematically than argonians pot passive?
I was always an argonian magplar in pvp, but high elf looks nice this patch

Never tried argonian. I started out as a NB healer Altmer before race changing and liked the passive, I don’t track my stamina in pvp and only realize I’m low when I can’t break free (too many other things to keep track of). Either way I found the passive noticible.

Argonian’s main advantage I feel is you can use the best magicka/sp/crit or unstoppable/magica/sp pots and still get health and stamina. It’s a lot harder to quantify than comparing the stamina return mathematically.

My Magplar DPS has been a Breton forever and a day, the extra sustain lets you run high (5k+) spell damage with blue food.
