Bleeds in pvp

So my understanding of the intention of bleeds is to have a counter to players who stack resists and just hold block. However against squishy players and really anyone who cant purge themselves bleeds are free damage with no counter play to them. Essentially if you can kill a tank you can easily kill anyone without putting much thought into what you are doing *cough* anyone who just relies on master dw*cough*.

-What if bleed damage was calculated based on how many resists a player has at the time the bleed is applied. This means that against tankier players the bleeds will be stronger, but will not outperform against anyone who just can't do anything to counter them.

Hopefully this would deter players from running builds that have little to no counter play.

    It was already nerfed. Honestly I haven’t noticed it much at all except in a few cases where people were running specific builds. I currently play mag sorc, mag dk, stamplar and sometimes stamden for reference.

    I see where you're coming from, but I fear that'd make skills like twin slashes/cleave very situational. It'd be mediocre against light and medium, and only really effective against heavy armor players. I mean, Cleave is already a laughable enough skill as it is. I'd love to see abilities like this get buffed, not further nerfed.
    If your change applied to just the bleeds from the weapon skill line passives I could probably get on board.

    Imo the problem is the passive bleeds, they allow for alot of unmitigated damage just for using an axe. The passive should be reworked into something else, and bleed abilities left alone. That way you have to sacrifice atleast a skillslot for the advantage.
