Guild related Question

Pardon my noobishness but I have a question regarding trade guilds, dues etc.

So, I understand that the trade guilds (meaning those with a bid upon and secured guild-trader location) have to pay rent on their kiosks, and imagine periodically they get into bidding wars with rivals. That being said, how do guilds collect their dues from members? Is there some kinda autodraft feature a member can use, or do they have to get online and send in money etc?

I'd consider getting involved with a trading guild (as a second guild I suppose), but due to my RL job, I'll have to be afg periodically, I don't want to deal with getting kicked for inactivity, or whatever, if I can just have dues taken out automatically. I'm not looking to become some big time trader, just want to get enough access to earn a bit of spare cash off of the odds and ends I end up with that won't work for my character. And to see that side of the gameworld :P.

Some guilds ask for dues or for members to buy raffle tickets. In the guulds I was in, that happened via deposits in the guild bank where officiers would record donations.

I joined guilds that also allowed members to just meet a weekly sales requirement without having to pay dues or buy raffle tickeys. The amount varied by guilds. Mine were 1k, 5k, and 25k for my three trading guilds, all of which suited my weekly sales for thise guilds.

I suppose you could talk to the guild officers if you can't be on weekly, or if you arent going to keep your trade slots filled filled then it may suit you better to look for a smaller trading guild that doesn't have dues or sales requirement - I was in one like that for several years.
