Isn't it, or doesn't feel, dirty to change your MAIN's race? I mean,...its the main...? or am i being soft?

✭✭otherI won't change any character's race or gender. That's how they grew up in-game. They may discover a new play style and change weapon, or role (in fact most tanks and healers develop doing DPS in their solo phase). The game expects you to use one weapon to start and add a second when you reach 15. Change/development is inevitable, but race isn't part of it.2 -

Fortunately, I can say this because my main is a Dark Elf, vampire MagDk and I am happy to leave him as he is.
Does anyone have a second main?! I do. A toon which was not originally the main, but turned into the main after a while, for a while and then in recent times has been benched as the original main is now, the main, again!

None of them are uncomfortable within their own skin or feel like they were born the wrong race. Might I make a transracial character some day? Maybe. And then I might bother using those pointless tokens they are giving us today. After all, when magic is a thing in this world, a transracial character could be granted their wish.0 -
Rumancek✭✭✭change your main's race = don't be silly!I ended up absolutely hating how I created my main several years ago on beta, so I paid to change her appearance/race a few months ago and it completely changed how I feel about playing her. It sounds weird, but I hit 50 with her and just stopped. I ended up levelling my Templar to 50 so I could farm champion points with him but I would barely play her even though I loved her build, loved her RP storyline.

✭✭✭change your main's race = don't be silly!I was unhappy with my Imperial "main" for a LONG time but he is a 9 trait crafter in everything and knows about 95% of the Motifs. I created him on the day the game went live so I couldn't justify deleting him, but I found that I played him less and less over the years. Didn't like his look, didn't like his survivability, and didn't like him for anything but crafting gear for my alts.
With the new racial changes being in my opinion lackluster for Imperials once again, I took the opportunity to make the change. I don't chase the meta, so the other two tokens will probably remain unused though.1 -

Don't get me wrong I love my main (altmer/magsorc) but the only reason I came to ESO was to create a necromancer and since there wasn't one at the time I decided to create the next best thing, a sorc with pets.
