How many hours until we get to play? (Console)

9 hours of Maint +
3-5 hours for patch Download +
1-55 hours to load into the new patch the first time =

I'm thinking it will be at least 15 hours until i can log in and hit the new dungeons. PC players any thoughts on the patch size or initial log in time after Wrathstone came out?

I'm just so excited but i feel like i need to temper it as i might not even get to play until after work again, 24 hours lol.

Patch was like 2gb if i remember
Logging time took like 2mn instead of the usual 20-30 seconds

I don't play consoles, but I figure maybe an hour total to download/install/login.

Maybe that's just my freakishly fast pc and internet bias talking (took me like 5 minutes to download/install, and login had no additional delay).

3-5 hours for patch download? Boy, I was in game 1 hour post release...9 characters, full bank, and all home chests, so I wasn't really short on inventory

PC player.
Wrathstone update for me took a little over ten minutes to go from opening the launcher to start the patch process until I was in-game with a character. The loading screen that they warned about took less than two minutes, which was a pleasant shock.

Don't forget the overlap.

You can start downloading the client update before the server side patch completes.

PC patch might have been 2gb - but console..... we're taking bets on it here in the office

Given the outlandishly large patch sizes on console, plus a warning about load times, I only have one question...

Who schedules these for the middle of events? Repeatedly If I did this sort of thing time and time again at work, I'd be fired for incompetence, and it would be well deserved.

If I recall, PC was done a little early. That might be the case here.

I chose 12-15 hours, mainly because it was the shortest amount of time beyond "as soon as maintenance is done".

Given variability of downloading a 3GB patch after about a 8-9 hour maintenance, my guess is more 9-12 hours, though.

Patch is usually downloadable by 9EST. So get that going ASAP.
