If we ever have again an awesome event like this again would everyone pitch in and take on the challenge what ZOS is going to throw at us? What should be in the next ESO Unlock Event to 100‰? Should the next ESO Event to 100‰ be a combination of____________.!?

Well... just in case you didn't notice, BUT 0,1 % isn't a big achievement at all. I doubt that eso will lower the the secret-number given they choose a pretty reasonable percentage last year.

The Summerfall event was very likely rigged from the start to always complete. Since we never saw any exact numbers, ZOS had complete control through the entire duration. We don't even know if what we did had any effect. If you're saying you want another event like that, I guess that's up to you. I prefer to see actual numbers if I'm working toward something otherwise why bother.

this would be fun and chaotic but it'd be a neat goal to reach. It's get more people to try out the raiding scene, which on normal is a not nearly as hard as people are afraid it is, and it'd revitalize some interest in raiding guilds and stuff.

I enjoyed the Summerfall event. I think it was my favourite event of last year. First time I ever went to the NA server and it was very uplifting to see zone chat full of people offering ports to Arteum and the general feeling of cooperation going on.

Loving my Psijiic Mansion too.

It’s succeeded in getting me into furnishing too, which I suspect was one of the many motivations behind the event.

ZoS specifically? or online games in general? i mean, technically even with ZoS, they did do that twitch views thing, where if you got up to a certain number of views, we'd get in game rewards AND Rich would get an ESO tattoo (incidentally - we overshot required views, before the livestream even got started :P )

as for games in general, I'm fairly certain that more then one MMO did events where community completion was live tracked with consistent updates, but my memory escapes me as to which ones at the moment.

Summerset was a publicity stunt/social experiment. We were getting all the prizes no matter what happened. It was still fun.

Can you imagine if you only saw your earned xp once per day instead of per instance of xp gain? It would be pretty fishy if each and every player always hit level 50 on Friday each week, whether they played 1 hour or 75.

Of course there is no proof that ZOS actually monitored each person that had the achievement completed, but there is also no proof that they didn't. They say they did, but they say a lot of things.

I said at the time that I suspected it was rigged - in response to people expressing fears that goals may not be reached.

Which has happened in other games, eg. STO.

Not only does that suck for players who contributed and didn't get the dangled carrot but it's a red flag about the game's lack of popularity.

While I am generally very pro transparency and honesty in this case I'd rather be guaranteed my shinies.
