Elsweyr DLC - level?

Do we have any information concerning the level required for Elsweyr? Will it be a starting area? High-level? Dynamic?

I'm considering creating a new Khajiit character now, whom will return to Elsweyr when the DLC is out. However, I don't know how high level I need to bring her to. Or if I should perhaps not create such a character, if there is a starter area in Elsweyr?

Going from the travel to Snooty Elf Island last year Khajiit is fairly sure you will be able to travel to Elsweyr at any level.

Also you can travel anywhere at any level.

This one is sure there will be many small kittens only just wobbling on their little paws who will be heading to Elsweyr later this year. They will all be just fine!

Every zone is the same level. There won't be a special level requirement. So you can play it with a newly created character as well as a max level one.

I don't know if you've noticed but the entire game is scaled, and has been since the One Tamriel update in 2016. All the enemies are at level 50, CP 160 difficulty and all players below that level are scaled up appropriately.

Elsweyr will be the same. Most likely new characters will be forced to start there, just like they were in Morrowind and Summerset, but it will also function as a max level zone...or anything in between.

So you can start your new character whenever you like and as soon as the update is released you'll be able to take her there. :)

Yes, that is true. It's something I really love about this game, it means that the new expansions are available to everyone.

I also play LotrO (a game I love as well). However, seeing as the expansions there followed the journey of the Fellowship, and every new area was higher level cap than the previous, it led to people (including me) not having cap chars being able to play any expansions.

This Elsweys expansion is the one I've been looking forward to the most, always hoping that either TES:O or the main series would address Elsweyr. Finally <3

Same as Morrowind and Summerset there will most likely be a specific tutorial for Elsweyr that will grant a skill point on completion.
The only reason to wait for Elsweyr to create a new character (other than to experience the tutorial itself) would be the availability of the necromancer class.
As other have said, the story quests and overland activities are levelled, so you can do them with a freshly made character without troubles

Well, that's fine seeing as I don't want my Khajiit to be a Necromancer anyway. That sounds more like something for a Dunmer. :p
