I attempted to cook my second recipe from eso in real life, and although it wasn't quite as bad as the Longfin Pasty, it still went horribly wrong 
I thought that I would share it anyway though! I plan to make the Jubilee cake next time, and fingers crossed it will be my first success! I'm not completely horrible at making cakes

I think if I were doing it, I'd bake the top crust "blind" - that is, over a dish with nothing in it, shape and drape the crust over the unfilled dish then bake until it was golden brown and done through. Then I'd place the top crust over the nearly done filled dish with the apples etc. and finish in a hot oven.2 -

I LOVE doing "Themed" events and dishes.... I did some "Sansa's Lemoncakes" at a wine tasting once..LOl...

Hahaha! Well, I tried to get away with that through technicalities, as 'technically' with the pastry and apples being cooked first, it was kind of cooked three times lol, although to be honest, it could have done with at LEAST two more times in the oven, so maybe I should have cooked it three times after all Sorcerer, Templar, Wolf Collector, Housing Addict!
