You know it took me a long time to figure out some basic mechanics and what I need for pvp in this game.
I was doing pvp on an alt and noticed people’s health pool’s were low. I told some player’s about the cheap level appropriate food from the battleground vendor (there are pots too) and they didn’t know about it. I asked in my guilds and was surprised they didn’t know either!
Someone should write an introduction to ESO pvp guide I’m thinking. I’m lazy and am terrible at writing guides, so someone else should do it, but it’s a good idea.
Here are some things I’ve found people don’t know about I’d put in there:
- there are cheap food and pvp pots on the battleground merchant that scale to your level. The stats change every 5 levels
- stay with your team in a death match leeroy
- In domination capping is more important than killing blows or deaths, I’ve won some against noobie premades where I had 0 kills and 7 deaths
- Buff your health. I see a lot of players try to pvp like it’s pve and go glass canon, you want to be well rounded
- Be aggressive
That’s all I can think of for now. Guess I’m thinking it’s better to try and make a constructive thread to teach new players then spam ‘whine/nerf x/there aren’t enough pvpers’ threads all the time.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
