[Suggestion] Backpacks

I couldn't find a suggestion forum, so I figured I'd just label it appropriately. I'm walking around in the Treasure Hunter costume right now, realizing that I would really love to see alternative back options. I'm not referring to cloaks, I know most people hate them and devs hate to make them because they clip with everything, but it would be awesome to have backpacks similar to Lord of the Rings Online. I think it completes outfits and makes sense to lore as well.

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

darbiirue✭✭✭I just think it gives a more complete look to one's character. I'm picking up stuff from people all the time, whether it be books or notes, carrying around skulls or just some flowers... I'm always carrying something. It would be nice to have options to show off what I do or what I like.
Examples could be things like:
- Cooking: A backpack carrying a pot, some garlic, sausages, etc. hanging from it.
- Treasure Hunting: Similar to what we have now on the Treasure Hunter costume, but independent of said costume.
- Rucksack: A rolled up blanket, a shovel, a pickaxe, some small satchels, etc.
It would add a lot more to characters, they could be gotten in-game for achievements, or/also added to the crown store.
There are options! I'm just chomping at the bit to see these one day.

✭✭✭✭✭Treasure Hunter is all right with 1H weapons, but every other weapon clips through the backpack. It's not a bad idea, but it's something that really needed to implemented at launch or around launch to effectively design how backpacks would work with weapons.signing off1 -

✭✭✭✭✭My character simply summons a magical chest to hold her stuff. Got the treasure hunter costume but won't wear it due to clipping bad with staves, worse with bows/quivers.
Don't mind/care if backpacks were introduced but even in Oblivion and Skyrim, my character used a summoned magical chest and prefers that. She's not really strong enough to slog around a heavy backpack - magic is ever so much more elegant.PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo1 -

And that is why I do not think they will make it, even tho it would be nice to hav a "back" slot where you can add various backpacks, group leader back banners, and yes even simple clippy cloaks (not like Liches don't show us those already, right?).

And they could remove the "wingy bits" from some chest styles, and make them extra "back" pieces, so people could pick and choose if they wanted to go with that...

✭✭✭✭✭Yah, my DW NB gets to use Treasure Hunter costume because she's one of the few where nothing clips.... So I stuffed her into that, and then added the Dwemeri Monocular Contrivance on the right eye, and the purple-gem tattoo thingy on the left.... and bought the CWC DLC so she has the Kagouti Fabricant mount.
She was my original main - until I realized that playing NB on a satellite connection was pretty damn hard. So now my mains are more-forgiving-of-high-ping wardens and sorcs....0
