You make it sound like accepting the statuette each month is some kind of burden to you. You just accept it, it unlocks the furnishing in your collectors menu then thats it. You're not obliged to use it. Nor is it junking up your inventory.
Stop your moaning.
Personally i really like them. Since there are a finite amount of "gods" in the tes universe, it is logical to conclude that the statuettes will eventually end, and when that happens they will perhaps decide to offer a different type of free gift for eso +

That was never an official statement. Don't mistake player wish lists for reality.

It is a burden. It's something worthless to me, if they gave an option for something akin to a few tri-potions or just some other small little boon like that OR the statuette then there'd be no "moaning" from me, because then I'd at least the thing that's part of the deal in the sub and it wouldn't be without value or use to me. As it is, it's something that is part of a whole package that my money has gone towards yet benefits me in absolutely no way because I can't choose to take something useful to me, my only choice is collect junk or don't collect junk.
There is no "free" here, this is part of the deal, part of the sub until they change the deal. There's nothing wrong with me expecting that something they said was part of the deal be of use to me. An option to choose between "X special monthly item" or "Y secondary "care package"" (or something else along those lines) that'd be useful to me would be immensely helpful.
It's great you like them, good on you. I'm glad you're getting things you enjoy. But if it doesn't take away from your ability to get the specially selected monthly item why are you against me getting to choose a secondary thing like a few tri-potions, a loot crate, or some similar little item?hope0burns wrote: »I signed up for a yearly sub when I started playing because I had seen all these cool threads about how you'd get a few loot boxes with your sub every month or other cool or useful gifts.

You're missing the point, the point is that previously generally useful items were given out, now items that are only useful for a very particular part of the game, homemaking, and for only very particular themes, Daedra worship, are being given away. And despite their claim it's *not* free, if I have to pay to get access to these "free" items and they outright say that subbing gets me this thing then it's part of the whole deal. To this extent, I state, again, that it's not wrong of me (or anyone) to expect something that's part of a paid deal to be at least a little useful to them. But no, I have no alternate options, I also can't convert these things or sell them. They're just there, either I claim them and store trash that'll never see the light of digital day, or I don't and get essentially the same value - nothing. Either way the lack of any alternative for something useless to me means I'm getting less for my money than those who are happy to get the statuettes do. Since it's all digital there's no real reason for that. But some of us love these.
And there's nothing wrong with that. Having a choice between these specially-selected items or some other small bundle of consumables or the like wouldn't take away from your statuettes/whatever special item(s) they decide to give.
Gems are intended as an exclusive Crown Crate currency.

Personally, I think costume rewards should be unisex, as not everyone plays multiple genders of characters. That way, it works for EVERYONE.

No, no, no. That would be much worse. We have more than enough from daily rewards. I think there are even less people who needs more consumables than people who is ok with statuettes.hope0burns wrote: »or a pack of crown-store consumables
