How many skill points do you need for an alt character?
On average how many skill points do you bother collecting for your alt characters? After a bit of a back of the envelope calculating it looks like about 73 would be the bare minimum for an ok build, 93 would get you some flexibility and maybe around 120 would be more than enough for most alts. In practice this seems to line up with around where I end up on my alts with new ones having the bare minimum and after a while they'll have a few more if I can be bothered doing some public dungeons or adventuring on them.
For example a basic templar alt might have:
