Novelty Stick Dragon dissapointment

Whats the deal with this? Im not on pact side but this is a strong discrimination agaisnt them in the favor of money. While you can get the horse and the guar for crowns (probably wont be much cuz joke items) this one is crowngem only, and im certenly sure it will be overpriced. Probably even 600 gem again. So just why?..

I thought Guar were EP. And horses are common in all 3.

It's not really discrimination. They just assigned each mount to an alliance, but there is nothing restricting an EP player from purchasing and riding either the guar or horse mount.

I get that a lot of players would want the dragon version, 'cuz dragons. Which is why that's the one they're going to charge gems for - probably the only one of the three they figured players would spend gems on, rather than just buying one of the others with crowns. If the guar had been for gems, I doubt they'd sell as many as they will of the dragon. Even the horse probably wouldn't sell as well as the dragon, although that's the one I would have bought anyway, if all three had been for crowns.

If the horse and guar are popular we might see the other four core mounts in the future. Probably pairing a radiant style (wolf, senche) with a non-radiant one (camel, bear).

It's the one that'll make the most money and by sticking it in the crates section, they'll force people who really want it and don't have the gems to gamble for it (in order to get gems). Thereby spending more money.

Sounds right to me. I'd rather have the guar anyway.

If the price is right, I'll probably get it for the novelty, but novelty price is all it's ever gonna be worth.

No interest in the stick mounts, but I would have really liked the spider. Sadly, it is gems only, so will remain forever out of my reach as I refuse to be shoehorned into buying crates just to generate gems. It's a stupidly expensive way to sell stuff and ZOS should be ashamed.

I'm a gamer with a brain, not a 'cash-cow' to feed such shameful greed. I will do without.
