Error 307 - booted from server

It appears Cyrodil having a tough time tonight. Can stay logged in for a few minutes. As soon as a battle develops = link dead. Took 6 attempts before finally getting back in. A few minutes later ..link dead again and error 307

Last patch that fixed some things also brought back lag with it...

Also zos love spartan kicks recently. even from changing a character. logging out from the character. >> boom. >> already on login screen.

For me it works like this.

If (character in safe place) then
Set ping <=150
Else if (enemy zerg is heading at your char position) then
If (you try to escape) then
Kick
Else

Set ping >5000
While (Char HP > 0)
Else
Set ping Rand(200,1000)
End if

Wow, I thought I was the only one dealing with this. It's annoy af! I'm trying to test gear and different rotations, every time I spend more than +15 mins doing any parse I get this. Then it takes me a while to log back on only to get the boot again in 15 mins. It's extremely frustrating.

Me too.

Last night while switching characters, I received Error 304: this account is already logged in.
Then I closed the password screen, loaded it again and I received Error 307: booted from server.

Que big sigh because I knew I would have to wait the allotted time.

They say here to wait 15-20 minutes, but I think something's most likely going on if a lot of people are having that same error.

Maybe include some details so that when/if Gina comes to check they have somewhere to look?

(Platform, Server, OS, Mother's Maiden Name. etc)

Same here. Dont understand why. It's like Zos doesn't want us improve our dps. Is parsing against ToS lol. It feels like it. Coz I cant log back in after for 15- 20 minutes. And the message, "you have been booted" wtf Zos.

It started around 20 minutes a go for me.

I saw the error and i was at the Mournhold bank after being on that character 5 mins. I was on other characters before this character for a good 20 mins on some, with no issue. It continued for a few more mins before it let me in. It happened again after about 8 mins and just standing there. During the time of getting the error i always had info showing on the login screen showing connection to the server that way also. Tracert or pathping scans show 100% fine always using win 10 command prompt as well.

0 packet loss from monitoring connection between my PC always, and during this. I'm using ping plotter for monitoring between my PC and the eso US server 198.20.198.110 with monitoring in 2.5 second intervals per packet. All connection points along the route are optimal in every way for from my PC to the supplied IP address from https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/30903/~/how-do-i-do-a-pathping-and-tracert-to-the-servers-to-test-my-connection

1 way the 15 to 20 minute cooldown activates is if we do things like create a huge backlog of notifications. Especially the small text in game notifications like craft blah blah for writ or master writs. Spamming the server basically. I can't get the game to do that from many of the larger notifications like "writ started/completed" type ones. Accepting or handing in about 18 master writs will do it if the smaller notifications get a huge backlog. Doing those i hand em in fast so it keeps giving me the smaller notifications and leaves all the larger notifications until all those are complete. Once larger notifications start they don't stop until all are displayed and i stop handing in master writs until small notifications come back to not increase the back log.That way i am able to hand in numbers like 50 or 80 at a time with no issue of getting the cooldown. Many other ways to spam the server also with info. Warning messages in game are there but only seem to show on specific types of server spam. Master writs it never gives warnings for the server spam from a lot of small text notifications backlogged.

Unless you did something crazy like that. Maybe an add on scan of some sort multiple times which i have always seen a warning message saying if it continues we will get kicked is what i have only seen every time with non master writ kick cooldown's i have ever been on. Or even lets you back in at a time not around the roughly set 15 mins, either less or more. It's unlikely to be the cooldown activation. Not unless it was changed by zos this last patch or month roughly from when i last did it and didn't care about waiting roughly 15 mins once it does trigger after about 5 mins when doing my large master writ hand in's. It doesnt seem so as it is partly there for cheat prevention and reducing it to that time would allow for increased levels of cheating. And i was also seeing varying amounts of time it would last for. 2 to 3 mins one of the times. Around 30 seconds another time. Trying continuously all times it happened also.

For anyone getting a cooldown with this error lasting around 15 mins. It could very easily be an add on updating to much info for what the servers would like. Quite easily in the background. Could be the add on itself or eso handling things differently to when things did not have that happen. Turning off add ons (especially combat related ones) would be a good thing to try. Happening once after that point is definitely something not working correctly in the game or server

Error 304 is a day 1 'feature' of the game on either the occasion login. Or more commonly shown after the game kicks us to login screen for no reason and we try to login again within about 30 seconds. It just seems as though it is still seeing us being online for that time

Error 307 happening will be very likely be from either 1 of the 2 things in my previous messages

Getting error 307 here as well while trying to parse and test different setups. Hugely annoying and the "wait 15 to 20 minutes" solution is not really helpful.

i think it happens when you do the same actions over and over again for some time.
i get it couple times in cyrodiil... while standing on a wall and shooting ballista on enemies... after 15-20 min -> kicked from server... mostly i missed the defence ticks and the siege was gone as well... which is really annoying.

Playtesting builds using the precursor test dummy has done this to me.

Plus it would be vaguely helpful if we didn’t simply get some prime dork’s error message that treats us like vermin. Something helpful and useful for the user (us) would be appreciated. If I have to come here to find out why the game has just kicked me out, then the in-game messaging/communication with players is f****d.

But hey, communication and ZOS are not the best of companions.

(Also this is not just a PC issue as I am on a Mac)

Interesting, I too was testing builds on a dummy just now when I just got booted....I see a pattern

Edit: and now it wants me to repair the game....NOOOOO!
