
That is understandable. However, we do not have the capability to alter, add credit, or adjust achievements.
You can either choose to discover the new zone area, which could possibly adjust your previous achievement date, or simply ignore that area entirely, so that you know for certain, that the achievement date will not be overridden.
It is not ideal, but it is essentially the fact of the matter.

Problem is, places that I know I've been and discovered (like everywhere except as stated above in previous post) are NOT "discovering" under the new system. It's actually very annoying.
