Some tree assets are rendered as these bright/flat objects until you get closer:


This issue started a few months ago (at least that's when I noticed it).
I've tried deleting "ShaderCache.cooked" and letting it rebuild, but it had no effect.
Is there anything I can change in user settings to correct this?
My specs:
GTX 1080
R5 1600
All settings maxed out (including 100% view distance)
All drivers are up to date
This is the only game I'm having any issues with so it's definitely not a hardware problem.
