Got a full set of divine War Machine sitting around. Thinking of throwing it on a NB I have not used in a while.
I was thinking Briarheart, what do you all think.
DW/Bow set up
Briarheart is good (I have it paired with VO, as a lightweight replacement for heavyweight AY + Relequen setup). Try also looking at Tzogvin's Warband, it's slightly worse stat-wise than AY, but should be much easier to keep uptime on during trash pulls and mechanics-heavy fights (and that's where you probably will want War Machine).
Take your pick, adjust your mundus, CP, and traits around it.
The other one you might consider is running a raid buff set like Morag Tong if your group is stam heavy, that way since your personal dps will be lower than Relequen with War Machine you have some justification for your parses.
My main stamblade Has the whole Veli-AY-Relequin set up.
Just hate having good sets laying around. I have the following med all medium to combo
TFS
LEVIATHAN
VO
BRIARHEART
WAR MACHINE.
I think you are not going to play the same sets in aller situations.
For me, as NB DW/Bow, I like to run:
In Dungeon: War Machine (going to test Scavenging Demise) + Tzogvin's + Kra'gh. More pen is good, tanks won't often have Alkosh.
In Raid: Either Relequen + AY (when I can stick on target) or WM + AY/Tzogvin's. It's always nice to have 1-2 major slayer sets in Raid (WM / MA).
As NB Bow/Bow:
Dungeon: Tzogvin's + Relequen (going to test Scavenging Demise on mechanic intensive fights)
Raid: Tzogvin's + Relequen (it's easier to keep releq up in dual bow and the floor is high).
I'm Bosmer, so it has been a long time I haven't needed VO. But you should still run it in raid against trash packs instead of Relequen (obviously).
Hunding is worse than all of those options for me, by 2-8k dps. I don't like briarheart, it's just like Hunding, but with the downside of a proc set you can't controle.
TFS isn't adapted: Either you run the shadow and need to go for pen (chose from sharpened/CP/Tzogvin's/Kra'gh) or you go for Lover mundus and then don't bother with sharpened weapons.
