Was Cyro Population secrectly reduced?

Since wraithstone launched i have the feeling that Cyro Population has been reduced.
Mostly only 1 Hotspot where Zergs are fighting and besides that its nearly Impossible to find any action.
We (4 ppl on blue) where taking all Ressources from Fare cutting it off and also making it Impossible to for AD to port to roe or alessia.
No one showed up for 30 minutes straight. Prime Time PC/EU Vivec while AD was pop locked. And thats only one time i was really surprised and wondering. much harder to find anyone to find nowadays.... What happens?

Ash_In_My_Sujamma✭✭✭✭✭Sieges are bugged since Wrathstone released, they deal insane amount of dmg per tick, driving several people out of Cyrodiil until the bug is fixed. Hopefully they will fix it today.11 -

Maybe people got tired of running after 4 players who were doing nothing if eval time was not in the 30 mins? Oh and if AD had Brindle porting to Roe and Alessia is easy.

Even if all fractions are locked there is barely anyone to fight and sometime you can even take home keeps with 4 ppl and no defender showing up while fraction is pop locked.... Its boring....2 -

Maximum kek for not getting the point.
Through last months AD on PC EU is poplocked maybe for 2-3 hours on Vivec during prime time (and even then when you try to enter Vivec usually you don't need to wait in que), while EP and especially DC is poplocked till late night hours.
On Sotha though AD is really poplocked, you always need to wait in a que even when trying to enter around 5 PM GMT, that's why my guess is that most AD players switched to Sotha (which is a lot more fun place than Vivec TBH, much less troll builds)Edited by Mayrael on March 4, 2019 10:52AMSay no to Toxic Casuals!

Sotha was so crowded yesterday due to siege changes - I never seen 3 zergs in one place from the same alliance, I can tell you.1 -

✭AD was never really pop locked recently or at least i never had to wait in a queue to get in while on DC i get some idiotic high queues during prime time.
But on topic i also feels there are less ppl or they just all move as one big stack.

✭From what i see that in general players are indeed feeling that there are fewer players in cyro then before on a pop locked campaign.
Sadly we dont have the exact numbers about this. Anyone words on this from ZOS?3 -

It might be that zos has decided to reduce the player cap in Vivec aswell (atleast that is how it feels). That being said it's pathatic that ESO PVP is either unplayable due to incredible lag when all factions are pop-locked OR there is just no action. Zos reducing the player cap might have reduced the lag during prime time, where many claim this is due to the siege adjustments I think it has definitly something to do with a reduced population cap.4

On topic, it sure does seem max pop has been reduced, but also Cyro PvP has died out quite a bit in the last months. Haven't had queue wait for AD Vivecin months.
