"Pirate Skeleton" monster set and polymorphs?

Hey,

If I use one of the xivkyn polymorphs or anything other, will I still be Transformed into a skeleton when the set procs?

Is there any other way to to not get the look of this skeleton when the Monster Set procs?

I Just hate the animation of the while transformation etc....

    That means you will be transformed omg:)
    And not, you can't do anything about that animation. Use other set or enjoy a few sec like skeleton xD

    You can avoid transformation if you are already transformed werewolf, also using skeleton polymorph reduce transformation time lol, so you simply get some VFX at top, besides no one will know that's you are pirate when you already skeleton.

    Are there currently any polymorphs or disguises that will stop the transformation from cancelling heavy attacks/other animations/etc?

    Couldn't you stop it from showing just by hiding your helm? Pretty sure that used to work for me, but maybe something has changed, it's been a while.
