Sorcerer shield/max item levels

Hello,
I quit playing this game when devs nerfed sorcerer shield (deadric ward) by many times.
Has been any changes regarding this ?
And one more question -> Are item max levels still champion rank 160 after all this time?

Sheilds benefit from your armor now, can be crit, and are capped at 50%-40% max hp, depending on which one you pick so you may need to invest in some health in addition to max magicka to achieve sufficient tankiness.

As for items levels yes they are still cp160

Max item level is 160, yes.
