Game Crashes

I've had 5 crashes in the last 4 days. Is this happening to anyone else? Or just me?

I'm on PC. Used to get them now and again before, but never this much.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. File tickets, give ZOS your specs and there’s a chance they’ll be able to do something about it.

To ensure it’s not a conflict of add-ons issue, disable your add-ons and see if the crash replicates itself.

Hope it clears up and you can enjoy the game again.

That is almost certainly because your addons are out of date.

Update all your addons and the problem should go away.

With or with out add-ons Crashes happen. For me crashes happen when
1. Zoning -changing from one location to another
2. Changing characters.
3. Fighting mobs (mostly losing ability to change weapons ) which is actually a soft disconnect followed by a hard disconnect ( soft disconnect is i still appear to be in the game i can move but i can not interact with objects) eventually i move far enough from the initial spot the problem occurred that i get the hard disconnect
Having run this with and with out add-ons enabled its not addons i suspect some of this is caused by memory leak/creep and the other by internal lag causing a forced disconnect do to location errors.

All my addons are up to date. And I've had out of date ones before but had no crashes.

I had a lot of crashes (crash-to-desktop after 5min or so, even if I'm idle) with Update 21 until I disabled a bunch of my larger and non-essential addons. I haven't had a crash since, so it's either one of those or luck.

I don't know where the blame lies, so I'm just gonna wait a week or so, check their forums/updates, and try them again. I know there's some typos in the current MasterMerchant relating to pausing in-combat, and the author hasn't responded yet, but they were introduced after my crashes started so the root problem lies elsewhere.

I disabled AwesomeGuildStore, HarvestMap, Lorebooks, MasterMerchant, MyBuild, RareFishTracker, TamrielTradeCenter, and WritWorthy. (edit: crossed out addons I've updated and reenabled, no crashes yet)

I kept ActionDurationReminder, AssistRapidRiding, CombatMetrics, GearSetsSort, HotepDinnerBell, LostTreasure, PL_CombatIndicator, QualitySort, QuestMap, SkyShards, Urich's Skillpoint Finder, Vampire's Woe, VotansAdaptiveSettings, VotansKeyBinder, and wykkydsOutfitter (kinda surprised that still works).

1. I've read somewhere that in order to run game really without addons, one must remove them from addon folder. That may not be true.
2. Maybe repairing game will help?

Yes, ever since the Wrathstone DLC I get random crashes. Sometimes in dungeons, sometimes just sitting on a Mount, sometimes doing nothing but standing there. I've had at least two a day sometimes more.

No crashes yesterday so maybe it's sorted itself out. Maybe.... The only addon I have thats playing up is MM which gives a UI error when I try to link price stats in chat but that started after the MM update and the crashes, so it's not that.

They have not FIX the Steam login because I am on steam and it reads play so I click on it and then it launches in to black screen shortly after it crashes! I have not been able to play ESO on steam for like 6 months. I have tried everything and nothing works even use a VPN got it to play, then it crashes!
