In recent pug pledges i cam across (a) tank(s) (maybe it was the same?) that immediatly wanted to kick everyone from the group that wasn't cp 810 - even people that had like cp 805 (not kidding); and when the group declined he immediatly left the group - happend a couple times... i don't know how others feel but i think this kind of asocial toxic behavior just ruins online games....im glad that most people in eso aren't like that and very nice... /vent off

Yup. I only do normal dungeons, but I was with a couple of mid 100 cp today who absolutely carved up Selene's web. Real high quality.

I've also done too many dungeons with high CP who only use LA bow. Ugh.

Can't understand the whole 810 cp thing, most I see on anchors, dungeons etc are pretty average at best, no doubt some are great players but a lot have just played along time without understanding stuff.

On the flip side, have seen a lot of 200-300 cp that are very good, maybe these are levelling alt's by good players, moral is don't assume some are rubbish purely based on cp level.

Something is wrong with that tank, or tanks, if they are queueing solo for GF as decent tanks can always find people to run with. I never queue up with less than 3 in my group, usually a full group.

The fact they were insistent about players being at the CP cap just shows how little they know. A great many players are at the CP cap and are not very skilled. Skill trumps CP any day of the week.

I have run into it before. Although, they had a tantrum over one of the dps running ahead and leashing all the mobs.

I honestly never look at someone level unless something is going very wrong and then try to help them if I think I can. Some people are just toxic in game. If they leave it's generally for the best as I can't stand elite attitudes.

This reminds me of incident when I was tanking vetCOH 1 and had 810 cp dps who kept running ahead pulling boss and died I only rezz the low cp dps and left that pro dead eventually he got mad and left.

Honestly thought this stopped after we had group finder rules with no cp 10 in city of Ash 2 and such. On point you only need 300 cp to have reach most of power creep in game.

That sounds really rude, and kind of ridiculous. The number of CP doesn't have to do with the amount of damage one does or how good someone is. As others have said, someone with lower CP can easily do way more damage than someone with higher CP. Your gear and build is also a big factor.

It's sad when this happens when all you wanna do is have some fun in a dungeon.

i don't care about cp level when on my tank, i will run with anyone apart from peeps who want to speed run/run in front of the group then complain they died, then i will say something, if they want to run ahead then do it solo is my thoughts, but tanks who do that because cp is low or having a go at someone in the group that goes for every backpack are toxic and should be ignored

In hundreds of pug runs i don't remember that anybody wanted to kick cp500+ immediately. So you either meet a very rare selected toxic one, or you are not telling full story.

It's not even about being CP810. For example, I have never ever played a NB, but if I was to make a NB and lvl to 50, I'd be a CP810 nb. I would have little or no clue how to play such a class, yet someone who had levelled a nb from lvl 3- cp160 would have a vastly superior knowledge of how to play a nb compared to myself. That's assuming that cp160 had taken their time to kinda learn the class.

That's why i think the very first class you level provides the very best learning curv and why people should never rush their very first levelling experience. Assuming they only have one account, you only get one chance to level a class in that particular manner.

From my experience, it's the CP200-CP500's who are usually the worst for kicking people. Most want a carry or to hide behind experienced players and obviously judge everyone else by their own poor standards. Most CP810's I've met have been fine.

i play tank, and if i see a low dps, i ask what set they using, and ask if they need help with their equipments, or the anything about the game..
pretty often i ended up giving a class at the end of the dungeon, and many became friends and guildmates..
i think being nice or ass is just a simple choice..
i feel responsible as end game player to share the knowledge and help new players..

I got 1200 cps and I dunno a thing about dungeons. So yeah, silly to judge players by cp.

I once helped out a guildie pugging a dlc dungeon for helm. Went all smooth with cp 400s. Only one messing up was me.

This is sadly a common thing, CP810+ thinking that they are awesome and know it all when it's most often the opposite. I have had my fair share of "you are lower CP, you don't know crap, I do".

Cradle of Shadows, Dranos fight. No one is killing the adds dropping orbs, no one is interrupting the couple of adds pinning down a player, I as a healer have to go around to kill adds so the boss can be damaged again and have to interrupt the couple so that the pinned person doesn't get OS. On the second wave I miss my interrupt on one of the adds and one of the DPS surely gets OS.

He instantly threw a tantrum, blaming me for not healing him and not doing my healer's job, so I kindly explained that not only no amount of healing would have saved him but I would indeed be able to focus on my job if I didn't have to go around to kill adds. He argued that none of what I had been doing (orbs, interrupts) was needed and bam here came the CP argument — I was in my 400 or 500 at that time — so I had no clue how the boss worked. As far I can tell being 810 didn't magically make him aware of the mechanics.

I’ve had dps also try to kick lower cp tanks, I think it was DC2 and as soon as we all loaded in a vote to kick popped up to kick our tank who was CP 83ish. Vote did not pass and the dps left the group. We chuckled about it and went on our way. Tank ended up being really good for a newer player. And we only had one wipe on the netch due to healer dcing. We let the tank know he’s fine.

I firmly believe you should at least get a chance to go through the dungeon before you should kick someone. They could be low cp but you have no idea if they transferred from PS4 or XBOX.

If you’re a tank and you poke stuff and keep stuff fairly bunched up, I’m fine.
If you’re a healer and you keep me up and send orbs or shards out every once in a while, I’m fine.
If you’re a dps and you know not to stand in the damage pools of death and kill stuff I’m fine.
All roles asking first about speed/no death rather than zooming off and trying to solo stuff when no one else wants to, I’m fine.

In other words, as long as you do your job, I don’t care what your CP is.

The only time I vote to kick or accept it is if a player if a player rage quits and logs off for 5 minutes or longer, they are harassing lower cp people or any one in general, or they clearly don’t give a care about mechanics even after they were explained to them and its causing wipes over and over.

Tank just sounds like he was a complete *** mate, just ignore them, i seen the lowest Cp players out-perform max Cp players because they sat on dolmens day after day to get their level up and learned sweet F-all about the game

Maybe he just had a streak of very, very bad random teammates? Even angelic patience can wear out.

As a tank I obviously never get to PUG with other tanks, but I can assure you that there are plenary of toxic damage dealers and some healers as well.

There are a lot of Prima Donna tanks out there. The demand for their services goes to their head and they become demanding, egotistical and annoying. Unfortunately there isn't much of a solution short of playing a tank yourself (which is what I did). Otherwise you are going to have to deal with the occasional ___ ____ tank.

most good players get to the point where pugging is too much damn work and run with other high level groupmates.

give some respect to tanks. Their population is incredibly low since 2014.
- do not rush (impatient speedrun idiots). Tank is combat opener!
- do not take away mobs from tank (if someone agro on you, lead him TO tank, not AWAY from tank)
- stay closer to tank to get buffs like Igni Shield
- follow tank. If he skip something then skip it too (otherwise tell about it in chat if you need side boss or else)

Tank want to create a perfect flow of battle. Do not ruin it.

some tanks (like myself) have 1k+ undaunted keys etc, so they want just enjoyable run. If something doesn't fit them, they just quit.

Can't be alts, but certainly could be good MMO players newish to this particular game. Under-50s can be alts, however, and hence benefit from player experience, CP and likely gear.

Its not always cps. If I see dds running resto staff and using only protective and healing skills I want to get rid of them on hard content. Its the same with fake tanks. Always give every1 change but you can figure it out after 1st boss if they are or aint doing theyre role right. I dont want so spend hours on a dungeons only because ppl doesnt want to improve theyre builds.

I don't expect that every 1 pulls 50k dps but only that they have at least little knowledge on the game. I left a group on fang lair because they didnt even know what bash is and they all were 810.

I also use vote kick or leave if this happens but I dont mock them or send them any toxic messages. Its also wrong against good players if ppl have no intent to learn even the basic stuff. If you just want to explore and run around with you fancy noncompat pets thats fine but in that case do not que on hard content.

My mistake, have seem some very good -300 players, and bad 810 arrogant ones.

Samesies. I've had absolutely dreadful tank that are super high CP. They didn't have taunts, had no clue about aggro, and my groups spent half the fight picking the tank up off the floor.

It'll still be the non-tank queueing in a dungeon that actually does need a designated tank, for me. Like vet fang.. who does that?

Probably was a subpar dps queuing as a tanky, Cx. I mean unless you are running around with an ice staff breaking aggro and afk eating, there isn't much of a reason to 'le kick'. Except....if the group is severely lacking in deeps and don't know the mechs. Though I do play multi platform and I have never kicked someone from a dungeon based on Cp.

Elite Tank? Only time I even glance at CP is after we wipe. Everyone should give others a chance and stop kick voting right off the bat or when you wipe a few times.
