"Why don't you just queue for the dungeons you're comfortable with?"

    "But, I want the reward"

    "then do a random"

    "but they are too hard!"

    "that's why there's a reward for it. . ."

Did you read my comment? "Or at least divide up the queue in to better difficult tiers. Or at least create a subscription level where you can get the craft bag but not the dungeon DLC or something. I don't mind doing hard content but sometimes just want something a little easier than spending my time constantly wiping in a pug on some stupid mechanic."

I don't care about the reward. Splitting the tiers or adding a checkbox to only do non-dlc would be a nice and easy to implement QoL improvement.

I think there have been enough Threads about this Topic and everything has been said in those Threads and in here (see what @Krayl wrote)… Therefore I would suggest - *close the Thread please* ;)

    Best regards
    Shadow

P.s.: Only thing what someone may/could add to what @Krayl said would be - if you wipe with PUGs, don't PUG and instead find a good and cosy Guild B) ...

"join a guild, or band together with other people who find them hard and learn them so they are never hard again."

"But that's too much work. I dont have that much play time"

"So then why is the reward so imperative?"

    "I deserve it"

"Maybe try zone chat to form a premade group? Or hook up with the other people on the forum with this same complaint."

"That's too much work, I don't want to go to a forum just to make a group"

    ". . . "

Or ZOS could just add a tickbox on the list of dungeons allowing you to "select all" "select DLC only" "select all non DLC". A few minutes work plus some testing.

There is a checkbox. Its called selecting Specific Dungeons.

You won't get the Daily Random Dungeon rewards, but you can guarantee you won't get the DLC dungeons.

Alternatively you can queue for random and if a DLC shows up, you can drop group and eat the penalty while you swap to another toon and try again. If you get DLC a second time, repeat the process until you don't or until you run out of toons to try it on.

Yes, that's a bit of a *** move, but it highlights an issue with the current system. There are multiple ways to work around the issue that the OP describes but unfortunately none of them are elegant. You can have a friend (or yourself) with no ESO+ access and queue. You can queue with a low level friend. You can eat the penalty as described above. Due to the fact that these workarounds exist, I have no issue with allowing a checkbox like the OP is requesting. Or ZOS can work at closing these loopholes I suppose. Either way works for me.

the random reward isn't worth that much, i prefer queue specific.. unless running with premade group, we do random queue, and then port to the pledge dungeon..

Tbh DLC dungeons every release are getting hard and mechanics heavy whats the point of releasing a content when majority of people can't do it imo difficulty of COA 2 or WGT are more than enough what theyre doing is making content for that 0.001% elite population.Everybody like challenge but not when forced upon and this is what they're doing by putting rewards behind those content.

You have to look at it from the perspective of the people who made those dungeons, all that hard work they put into making them and you want to opt out of it, that's a kick in the face or a pulling khajiit by the tail sort of thing.

That's why I just don't do ESO+ unless I need to severely clear space, and only buy specific DLCs that don't have dungeons with them.

The spectrum of difficulties from FG 1 to tougher-DLC is too broad to be enjoyable; a group that will have fun at one end of the spectrum will find the other end to be absurdly difficult or easy as the case may be.

Just unsub, its a win win, you save $$ AND no DLC dungeons.

I am surprise Zos has not offered a toggle for the DLC dungeons in the random. It is such a great idea.

Of course Zos would make some changes to the random rewards. Risk vs Reward would play a role, as it should.

Random including DLC dungeons would be Tier 1
Randoms excluding DLC dungeons would be Tier 2
Second random of the day would be one tier lower as it is now so there would have to be a Tier reward.

So the added Tier would either be Tier 1 as gold quality of Tier 3 would be green quality.

I understand some would like it to be less risk and still get the same reward but Zos has to incentivize queueing for the DLC dungeons. To think otherwise is just entitlement.

Or just unsub and get same reward with no DLC dungeons.

Or you want to turn this game into pay to win?

Lol I love the players saying that the new dungeons is only for the elites players....... In pve i'm not even close to being an elites with th Best min max build..... Sorc with cp 140 gear btw...... I have completed ver cradle of shadows, vet mazzatun, vet fang lair, vet scale caller peak, ver imperial City prison and vet Whitegold tower all with ease.......while im doing the most dps in the dungeon....... All that with a cp 140 gear mag sorc setup...... Vet hardmode is a diffrent story but if your only going for the Random dungeon rewards there really is no need for vet hard mode.... So yeah the vet version really isnt as hard as some People make it out to be

Then why, may I ask, would you want to run a random daily? If rewards are not wanted and just looking for some fun/action, pick specific and check everything except DLCs.

Getting thrown into DLC really lowered the incentive to queue randoms as a tank. It seems I have a 90% chance to get thrown into a low DPS scalecaller or Fang's Lair group when I queue as a tank; this has been true ever since I started playing ESO. When this happens, I switch to my DPS character and re queue.

Invite lower lvls to join your group, queue random, enter most of the time Fungal 1 Grotto is how I do it when I wanna get lazy.
Or ask in guild chat if there is somebody without ESO+/without dung dlc;s that wanna do random.
