IDEA: Account wide quality-of-life settings.

To have the ability to change interface settings for all your characters instead of just the one would be great.
For example: auto-loot, subtitles, profanity filter. Chances are you want those the same across your account.

I know this doesn't matter/apply to old players and characters, but when you start up new and create a slew of characters to try out, it would be phenomenal.

Also, the chat settings, Annoying if you like personalized colors, that you have to do them for each characte by hand, right?

Should not be such a hard thing to code to let us save and load those as "gamer profile", right? (that way those who -do- want different setups can save different "profiles", right?)

I've wished for this kind of thing forever. It isn't like it is hard to configure your settings every time you make a new character ( I make a lot of them ) but it becomes tedious after a while, especially when you have your zone / guild / PM / etc colours set in a certain way that you become used to, and with each new character made they have to be set.
Doing it just one time across account would be so much handier.

It's this way because some accounts have multiple people using them. So each one can have their own settings tweaked to their liking. But I agree that there could be a checkbox for synchronising the settings. Although how much times does this adjusting really take? If you know your preferences it's less than a minute, once per character.

I'm all for it. Granted it's not difficult to set each time you make a character, but it is a minor nuisance.

Agreed, some type of checkbox "Use Settings for <character name>"

I agree, as long as it's optional. There are sometimes good reasons to have different settings for different characters.
