Items missing in mail

To save up space in my inventory I mail items to my friend and he will just send it back and when it expires in my inbox I grab it and send it again ect. After update 21 all my items in my mail were there, and while playing it just vanished. What can I do to get it back?

✭There is an awful bug with mails and disappearing items that has been reported here:

Take a look if that's your case too.
