Input on Khajiit Critical Change for non-Templar/non-Nightblade Builds in PVE?

I'm a console player so I haven't yet been able to delve into how the khajiit critical passive change impacts my non-crit class of StamDK. Has anyone been able to do some testing as to how the critical damage change is impacting numbers on classes that aren't templars or nightblades?
I've read in passing that the change to critical can actually be (is actually?) a buff to classes that aren't templar or nightblade since other classes have less critical chance anyway - but I'm not sure I totally understand the logic or the math behind the calculations.
Anyone looked into this further? Most everything I've found is centric to the stamblade.
