I also completed Cadwell's Gold... and just slew about 10,000 Covenant soldiers for the Pact. Yet, I'm DC still.
I do not want to switch from DC at all, just saying they should give an alliance change token as a reward after completing Cadwell's IMO.

If you don't pay for that game package, you don't get Imperial as an option to change into. Same with Alliance. If you don't pay for 'Any Alliance", they can't give Everyone a token to Change Alliance. It would not work with the game package some players bought.
At least with race change All players can still use the token, albeit some will have fewer options than others. With Alliance, that's an all-or-nothing. If you haven't paid for the "Any Race/Any Alliance" it would be a token that you just could not use.

Cadwell has approached me and offered me an chance to see how events might have played out if I'd washed up on the shores of a different alliance after escaping Coldharbour.

The original op has been answered but there seems to be a good discussion going on here about Cadwell’s Gold.
I agree that finishing it should give you a one time choice to switch alliances. That would be pretty cool all things considered.

Not asking for anything paid Base game or not. Cadwells is base game correct? You start off by doing your Alliance quest, then he lets you play thru it twice more as the other 2 alliances. After doing all that he should ask you with a token or quest or Red text, which Alliance you want to remain active as, is what I am saying.
You just obliterated many of your "Alliance" while playing Cadwell's. Now you go to Cyrodiil and fight for the Alliance you just wreaked havoc in?
