I found the final fight to be extremely lack luster compared to the rest of the dungeon bosses. Other than the beam, and the heavy attack, everything else can be walked around. I think it's a very cool boss, and the end of the fight is pretty awe-inspiring, but the boss as a whole seems very easy. I did veteran, but not hard mode. That being said, as far as I know, no new mechanics are brought in when hard mode is active. I give the boss a solid 10 still since it's very much a dance with a blade master, and if you aren't constantly aware of what's going on you will likely die a lot. I just thought it was weird how prior bosses such as the Orb boss (forgot the name) were much more of a challenge.

    I won’t be able to play it until next week’s dungeon night in guild because the last time I tried to play a dlc dungeon on launch day with a pug, all the dialogue was skipped for me.

    I just dont understand how to prevent the healing debuff when the boss sticks his 4 swords into the ground

    Troll vote for me, being apart of one of ZOS stepchild homes PS4 na we have to wait.

    Being a paying customer it’s messed up zos shows all this love for PC players. Look how many years and we are just getting proper map UI. They gave us buff trackers and they didn’t even track ground dots, While if you play PC you have things with big a** numbers telling you when your merciless proc etc. wait let me guess it isn’t Zos fault because MS and Sony don’t allow 3rd party... blah blah BLAH when ZOS can just make that a base game feature.

    And don’t start with that “well pc players are testing for you guys” that’s bS because we all know that the console update will launch with the same issues. We don’t even get twitch drops lol. But what is my opinion?

    I bumped into the barrier at the entrance like a clown and couldn't be rezzed because it would kill me instantly again.

    Actually HM adds the spawning orb (don't think it's present on non-HM), so that's an added mechanic. I did like the fight, the sudden surprise transition to the second half of it, and generally the dungeon feels quite fresh.

    The other one, Frostvault, felt a bit easy minus the Resident Evil part (speaking non-HM here). And the final boss caused a déjà vu. ^^

    I thoroughly enjoyed the dungeons. Thought they were just fine on normal, excited to see vet once I've got all the mechanics down. As I said in another thread, it's good to see normal resemble normal again.

    I guess 5 is an accurate score, the boss and dungeon(s) is/are really awesome, but tbh the HM is a bit too easy, PTS version of the boss was nerfed a lot. We cleared it after 3-4 wipes with 3 people that had no idea about mechanics before. That's just my opinion and my only point of criticism.

    I'd rank the HM as being easier than any other DLC dungeon on their day of release.

    We did both vets last night, it was really fun. ^^ And purposefully without reading up on mechanics, to discover things for ourselves. But yes, we took our time wiping in vDoM HM before we resorted to non-HM clear, not just because spawning orb mechanic, but because it's just harder with much more incoming damage, health to burn through and (I feel) faster pacing. Hope you'll have fun in vet. ^^

    This might actually be the first vet DLC in a long while where during a random daily group finder run I will consider activating HM at the end...
