Rapidfire (bow) not great for PvP?

I rarely see weapon ultimates shown in many builds, and it got me wondering if the weapon ultimates are just generally considered inferior by most.

I see rapid fire for bow with it's like 24k damage spread over 4.1 sec, and wondered what's wrong with it for PvP? Intolerably hard to line it up that long on a target typically?

Rapidfire is a channel which means you cannot do anything while casting it or you have to cancel the animation. Ballista is the better one as it auto fires for you. Most weapon ults are inferior as many of the other ultimates have additional effects like stuns which are key in pvp.

I use rapidfire as one of my ults and it ussually worms pretty well...... Then again..... Im not the avarge meta player in the fact that I also pvp on my main char(wich is stam) with the shadowrend monster set...... Wich most People see as utterly usless...... But I enjoy it😃
