Is Stamina Sorc Decent for Soloing?

I know any and all classes can solo. I'm looking for a melee / bow class that is decent on moving around and can get the job done and sustain itself without having to worry about health after each fight or worse yet take a long time to take down mobs.

This is not suppose to be for special trials, etc end game but really just fun character that is bow / melee based.

I was considering Red Guard but not sure if that will have a impact come Monday or they considered still better race for Stamina based classes?

If you have another class/race mix suggestion I love to hear it. From my Understanding though the Stam Sorc is one the better melee/bow classes but if there is better I love to hear it.

If there is a easier one to play I also like to hear it. I mean the game does not have that many buttons to begin with but I actually like boring rotations, etc. As long as it pumps the dps make soloing fun and fast and not a snooze fest watching everything around me get destroyed by other players.

I just wanted to add I hate animation cancelling not that one can get away from doing it haha.

I enjoyed soloing quest content and some normal dungeons on my Stam Sorc.

If you don't PVP, the AOE from Hurricane and the self heal from Crit Surge rip through mobs while making Stam Sorc quite robust.

If you do, Vigor and Caltrops are fantastic supplements to the Stam Sorc's toolkit, since the AOEs produce lots of crits to fuel your self healing, while Vigor gives you a stamina burst heal.

Thanks! yeah the amount of PvP I do is shoot my bow in the background like an idiot and then never come back ahha

I have 1st and once active person - stamina sorc. Its best solo class, i think. You have top speed+streak, specialy, if you Orc. You have best AoE Hurricane+Caltrops+Valley. You have great heal from Curge, i dont know where you can die, if you use hurricane+curge, mb in vMHa, but you can use briarheart set and you dont do this) I love this class, cose we have top stats, low ultimate points and we not mainstream.

Now to learn how to level one haha. All the guides are how to end game with crap ton of CP

This is pretty good information.

Every class does well going solo. Some do better with very different builds than they excel with in groups IMO, but that is probably a little obvious and normal.

Vigor is not a burst heal, but it is a great heal over time.

Rally, from the 2H skill line, is a burst heal.

Stam Sorc is a great solo beast. I only use crit surge as a heal on mine these days for most content, and it's more than enough.

If you can find Space for surge the solo suvivability is Great. But beside the hurricane/surge synergy there is not much to it. Walking weapon skill line etc.

Like others have said here it is perfect for your needs and would work great with redguard as you will mostly be using weapon skills which redguard help to sustain. Caltrops from assualt line will help as well but not required. The only downside is that its a bit tedious until you unlock crit surge and maybe dark deal. I love bolt escape as its so much fun but is not required. You will need Dawn Breaker from fighters guild though as you wont have any usefull ults from class line.

It's just not a fun feature. I know a lot of people say well it's part the game but honestly I rather just have animations sped up then so we can see it more visually. I think it's just the way my own brain works a bit of an impairment lol.
