Advice on Vampire management please

Hello.

I am playing a lot of dungeons/trials and battlegrounds and need your advice on how to effortlessly manage Vampirism on my character.

When I go to BG a just visit rededication shrine and afford Flame Lash. When I go to a dungeon I afford Molten Whip.
But I can't figure anything similar with Vampirism. I don't want to be a Vampire at all in BGs (too many Dawnbreakers out there) but I want to be a Vampire in dungeons and trials.

Do you know of any effective way of doing this? I don't want to get bitten and then curred 4+ times a day.

Thanks for any advices in advance.

It's not called a curse for nothing. Go dark elf if you want to mitigate it a little bit. Dawnbreaker to the face still stings pretty badly and all the fire siege is bad but you learn to live with it even though you are technically undead.

I am a Dark Elf. Before every BG I drop my Vampire stage to 1. But Dawnbreaker does bonus damage to me regardless.

I am just asking if there is an option to gain/lose vampirism quickly without constantly looking for someone to bite me.

Unfortunately there is only 1 other way.

$$$ - You can buy the cure, and buy the bite with crowns

Double Bloody Mara is perfectly fine in managing vampirism in relation to PvE and most of PvP (fire damage). In PvP if dawnbreakers are too much of an issue then you'll either need to build for more survivability or cure yourself at the mages guild in Rawl'kha. I do not recommend curing yourself and reinfecting yourself whenever you want to switch between PvE and PvP, since a player can only infect another player once a week and it'd be a waste of crowns to pay for vampirism whenever you wanted to PvE.

All in all, you have to decide whether you truly wish to play as a vampire.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Learn where bandit camps are and such, I usually stay stage 4, but if I know I'll be dealing with a lot of fire I'll feed my vamp.

I put a lot of points in to the things like elemental resistance and health regen to try to make up for the vamp stuff.

Use Bloody Mara or feed on a human NPC to reduce Vampirism one stage at a time. If you want to go back to Stage 2, 3, or 4 then pop a Vamp ability on your bar and spam it till you get to the stage you want. Every time you use a Vamp ability it takes 30 minutes off the vamp stage timer.

No. Unless you count buying a cure and vamprisim from Crown Store. Otherwise the best you can do is reduce to stage 1.

You can drink bloody mara drinks to quickly reduce the downfalls of vampirism and you can cast mist over and over to speed up the time it takes to revert back to higher levels.

I am already doing that. But even if you are stage 1 or have fire resist glyph, you are still getting bonus damage from Dawnbreakers. That is my concern, I want to have bonus recovery in PvE but not getting bonus damage from Dawnbreakers in PvP. As it seems, there is no way of doing that :disappointed:
