Is this possible/'legal'?

I started playing ESO in the last days of open beta, and thoroughly enjoy the game. I did have to stop for about 1 1/2 years for reasons, and have recently started again, on the PS4. Is it possible, and/or legal, game-wise, to locate another NA player, with both PC and PS4 accounts, give them my gold and stuff on PC, and in return, they give me equal value gold/items on the PS4?

I don't see why not provided there is no real world transaction along with it. It's all in game trading. Similar to crown store for gold.
