There's been a couple of things on ESO twitter in the past couple of days:



Can't see them keeping that amount of teasing going on for very long.

Last year the event started before the announcement was posted.

Last year it was from March 1st to the 12th. So if they use the same time frame it will be February 28th to March 11th. Still a mystery though.

Should be starting soon otherwise the whole timetable for the first quarter in 2019 would be messed up.

Each unique Q1 event will provide you with the opportunity to buy new Indrik Berries from the Impresario:
Midyear Mayhem (In January!) – Dawnwood Berries of Bloom

The anniversary jubilee is the one running for 5 weeks, not the jester's festival. Though considering how many events we have, it's understandable to get them mixed up!

The anniversary jubilee is the one running for 5 weeks, not the jester's festival. Though considering how many events we have, it's understandable to get them mixed up!

I'm doing the early DB quests to at least unlock the Sacraments, which are presumed to be one of the vectors for event tickets in the DB/TB event.

I would welcome more missions from both guilds. Maybe tied up with the newer chapters.

Double drops from daily quests and bosses.
Heist always gave the purple box with motif during event, two if perfect. Assume the DB dailies worked the same way


The new is the event tickets and that grants it. Ashlander dailies did not give tickets during Morrowind only the justice dailies.

They are going to be selling the tickets in the Crown store too

This level of sneak is too high. When is this event coming ZOS? If it overlaps with March 12th console players will miss a day. If it starts after the 12th it will end right before the Jesters festival.

Sure, anybody can be a thief or assassin. But you'll never be as good as a Khajiit, since you will have to give up some other stats to wear two stealth radius reduction sets. And you'll never be as good a pickpocket, under any circumstances.

They should just rename it the Khajiit Festival, as they removed 50% of the existing stealthy races with the last update.

Hey, ZOS, since Bosmer are guards now are they going to get any special guarding stuff quests? If you're going to crap all over the lore, why do it just half way. The quest giver at the beginning of the TG and DB lines should just say, "Oh, no, you're a Bosmer, the guards' guild is over there." And then Bosmer can get a racial exclusive guild. Oooooh, how exciting that would be. The active ability could be "stand around for hours doing nothing." What exciting gameplay. The passives could be massively OP, too. 100/200/300% increase in the ability to detect hidden NPC's. Such wow!

^ This. I have a Dunmer magblade that doesn't even need to crouch unless it's to pry a chest or grab an item when an npc is near. He just cloaks through the whole map. Usually finishes any of the heists in around the 3 minute mark (5 minutes left), and for Sacraments normally has more then a minute left (out of the 2 minutes you're given to get out).

Since the event hasn't started yet, the most likely start date is Thursday, March 7 this year, running until Monday 18th. That would mean the Jester's festival possibly starting on Thursday, March 28, though until Monday, April 8 - unless they decide to make one of them a really short event.

With the Anniversary event then starting in (mid?) April and lasting for FIVE WEEKS, it's going to be total madness until early PC access to Elsweyr begins in late May...

yes its more likely to be an forener issue as Rawl is an Khajiit town on the Bosmer / Khajit border the Khajiit will blame bosmer unless they grab the thief tail

When you get a TG daily to pickpocket 10 items from people in Greenshade (or wherever), you will still never be as good as a Khajiit with +5% to pickpocketing. And no one ever said it was hard or impossible. Just that the Khajiit is best.

That was from back when Bosmer were specifically called stealthy in the character creation screen. Now that has been changed to being good at detecting stealth. I'm sure that eventually ZOS will get around to retconning all of the lore to support the notion of sneaky Bosmer to better reflect the new reality. We have always been at war with Eastasia; Bosmer have never been sneaky.
